And my second try on the freehand approach to drawing - after this I will get back to commissions, I promise! :P
Yeah, this was another quick idea that I really wanted to do. The idea just popped into my head and I thought that this would serve for a good way of trying a quicker and more messy technique, so I could draw these little sideprojects without them gobbling up too much time from commissions.
So this idea features two unknown canines as they share a classic date by going to the movies. The little guy on the right is geeking out right now about the newest film they are gonna see, while the hunky big guy finds that incredibly cute and cant help but blush.
I always had a soft spot for the "gentle giant" kinda type. People who might look like you could figure out in one second, but are completely different once you get to know them. I kinda had this idea for him being just a huge fella just because he was and that he didnt like people immediately jump to the conclusion that he might be a body builder or some sort. So he likes that the little guy just treats him as a normal person and isnt intimidated by his stature.
Yeah, this were two nice distractions from my usual style, but now I feel that I am ready again for something big. Be afraid, people, be very afraid. :P
