Just a quick test to see what I can do with markers... which were mostly dead already so I didn't pay too much attention to finesse or anything

The colours scanned well except for yellow which is much lighter on paper...

I'm thinking of maybe trying markers plus colour pencils next time, to see how it goes

I think the coloured pencils would be a great idea, especially if your markers are dying. They'll help cover up those line marks and blend them in. I like the way the yellow shading looks on her tummy :3
