Father And Son Episode 5: Set Out For Back story

*   *   *

It was a bright and sunny Monday morning, and the Alexanders were getting ready to head out.

"And on this day, the big, buff, well endowed and incredibly sexy James Alexander and his equally sexy young lover Lars headed out into the world for ADVENTURE!" Lars put the last of their luggage in his father's SUV. "Not just any adventure, but a special pilgrimage back to his birth town in Empire City!"

James finished locking up the house and joined his son. "Where did you get that speech from?"

"Literature class. The teacher is doing a section on how being a large ham was an integral part of good theater back in the olden days." Lars hopped in the passenger seat of their SUV.

James got into the drivers seat. Even in this huge truck, he still looked a bit too big for it. "Well I hope you aren't planning to ham all the way there."

Lars smiled at his dad. "Of course not. I just wanted to give our leaving a good narration." Lars had a big toothy grin on his face.

"Well your nothing but smiles this morning kid." Lars' good mood put James in a good mood, too.

Lars turned to his dad. "We usually have work and school and Saturdays are always kinda lazy. I'm looking forward to spending three whole days with you dad."

James ruffled his son's hair. "Well then, we should be off." James started the car, backed out of the driveway and off they went. "Alright, it's seven now. If we make good time, we should be out of Central City by noon. Then it's nothing but countryside until we get to Empire City." James rolled his eyes. "In hindsight, it would have been easier to just catch a plane, but like you said, three days with your husband sounds pretty good."

"Yeah....Hey dad, why did you move so far away from your home?" Lars couldn't help but ask.

James thought back as he drove. "That's a long story....But we have the time..." James turned on the radio. "You see, I came to Central City to go to college indeed, but I also left....to get away from them..."

"Get away?" Lars looked interested.

"Yeah. You know I'm the youngest of my family."

"Yeah, There's Uncle Jumeres and Aunt Celia."

"Well, back when I was a kid, they were real monsters..."

*   *   *

Flash back to a teenage James, sitting in his room studying.
(You see, I was the last born, I was the smartest, the most handsome and even though I was the last one born, I was the one who was named after dad. If families could have a Mary Sue, I was the most likely candidate, and if families could have The Scrappy, I was definitely that to my brother and sister.)

"Hey Jameil, what are you doing inside?" Jumeres called to his brother from outside.

"I'm doing my homework. You see, I like to get my work done so that dad doesn't yell at me. Unlike you, big bro."
(I was also kind of an asshole about the whole thing.)

Jumeres rolled his eyes at his brother. "Your only a freshman Jameil. It's not like we expect you to be anything great..."

James looked out the window at the sky. "But I was going to join the football team and the best way to get onto the football team is to have good grades on top of a sexy body like mine." James was thinking about how much fun it would be when he got hit in the face with a basketball.

"Yeah right queer! You only want to join the team so that you can fag out on dicks all day!"
(The fact that I was bisexual was one of the few quirks I had back then, and since homosexuality was fair game, Jumeres teased me mercilessly about it.)

"Hey, I like women too Jumeres! SHUT UP!" James tossed the basketball back at his brother.

Jumeres caught the ball easily. "Yeah, but that doesn’t change the fact that your a FAGGOT! Always have been, always will be!" Jumeres walked off, laughing at his little brother.

*   *   *

James' bright and sunny mood was gone. "I hated Jumeres for that. I knew that brothers took friendly jabs at each other all the time, we had that kind of relationship when we were younger, but Jumeres genuinely hated the fact that I was gay. He was a homophobe and the fact that I was even half gay made him think that he could be converted to the gay. For a while after I let it slip he was convinced that I had been turned gay or molested or something like that. When I finally convinced him that I just was gay...he channeled all his hatred of gay people into me..."

Lars looked concerned. "But Uncle Jumeres always looked so friendly when I've seen him before."

James nodded. "Over the years, he learned to look past the fact that I like men. He's still very much homophobic, but he's made a sort-of exception in my case..."

Lars thought out loud. "Do you think....he would hate me?"

James shook his head. "Of course not. Your his first and only nephew. On top of that, your MY son. I'm sure he'll be alright with you. And in case he isn't....I've gotten bigger then him." James took a quick look over at his son. "Lars. If Jumeres does or says anything hateful to you, tell me. He may be family, but I WILL NOT have him treating my son the way he treated me." James looked out at the road ahead of them. "I just hope the years have helped him get over his prejudices...."

Lars nodded, leaning onto his father. "I wouldn't let him do anything to me anyway. The last time he saw me, I was still little. I could probably kick his ass up and down the street now."

James looked down at his son. "Now Lars, that's still your uncle. I expect you to respect him the way you respect all adults." James returned his eyes to the road, but lifted his arm so that his son could snuggle up with him as he drove.

"Alright dad..." Lars smiled. He felt his dad's warmth, Every breath in was saturated with his scent, he could hear his father's soft breathing and feel as his chest expanded and contracted. "Your so great dad....just being with you feels awesome....I love you..."

James smiled. His eyes were on the road, but he could feel his lover holding on to him. His very presence putting his lover at ease. It made him feel so good. "I love you too Lars...."

*   *   *

It was a few hours later. Lars had fallen asleep under his dad's arm and James' attention span was starting to wane. "Ugh...." James kept his groan soft to keep from waking Lars, but then his stomach let out a roar that did just that.

"Hmm...." Lars slowly woke, his senses returned and he remembered where he was. Feeling his dad's warmth around him like a blanket was one of the best feelings Lars ever felt.

"Sorry love. I didn't mean to wake you...." James ran his hand up and down Lars shoulder.

"What time is it?" Lars rubbed his eyes with his free hand, keeping connected to his dad.

"About one." James smiled. "I think it's time we find a place to have lunch."

Lars nodded. "Okay..."

*   *   *

It was a bit later, they had found a nice little diner to stop. They both had hamburgers.

"Hey dad." Lars looked up from his burger.

"Hmm?" James was in the middle of a bite. Lars always thought his dad had the cutest expression when someone asked him something while he was eating.

"What about you and Aunt Celie? You said that both of them disliked you as kids." Lars ate some of his fries.

James took a drink of his soda before speaking. "Oh yeah, that's right." James thought back. "Well, she didn't care about my sexuality, and we were more friendly to each other, but she had a sever case of Middle Child Syndrome, so my being cute and smart pissed her off to no end...

*   *   *

Flashback to a pre-teen James. and Celie in junior high together.

"Hey Celie, are you signing up for the big spelling bee?" James smiled at his sister.

"Let me guess, YOUR joining?" Celie rolled her eyes.

"Yeah! Papa says that if I join something educational and do good at it, he'd give me an advance on my allowance."

"What!? He never did that for me!" Celie was very clearly upset.

"Well, I kinda wanted to buy something, and I kinda begged him for an advance." James scratched the back of his head. "Dad's so big and scary sometimes, it's like talking to a skyscraper." James blushed a bit. "It's always weird to be afraid of your dad when you haven't even done anything wrong..." As James blushed, girls passed by him, noting that he looked very cute.

"So he decided to give you an advance on your allowance." Celie was putting their conversation back on track.

"Oh, yeah." James nodded. "Well, not yet. He said I had to join something academic and do reasonably good at it before he gave me the advance. The spelling bee seemed like the perfect choice since it's right around the corner."

Celie gave James a scowl.

"What's up sis?" James looked worried.

"Daddy never gives ME that kind of treatment!" Celie pouted.

"You never ask. Mom says that if you want something, you have to let people know. So I let dad know.

"He wouldn't have done something like that for me. It's because your the kid of the family!"

James gave Celie a deadpan expression. "Your only two years older then me."

"Whatever! Your still the kid, so you get all the special treatment!" Celie huffed off. "Well you can forget about that advance on your allowance because I'm going to blow you out of the water Jamiel!"

*   *   *

They had finished their meal. "Me and Celie were always fighting when it came to academics after that. She loved nothing more then seeing me fail at something educational. And with Jumeres beating me down with his hateful talk, it was all too much....I thought about suicide for the longest time."

Lars was shocked. "You really thought about that!?" Lars held his father's hands.

James nodded. "Yeah...it was that bad....But I remembered that I don't go down that easy. You see, those two thought I was just gifted. But I didn't just know things. I didn't just get good at sports. My mom said if you want anything in life, you have to fight for it, if you need anything, you have to make it known."

Lars looked into his dad's eyes. "But what did you do?"

James gave Lars an evil smirk. "I did the one thing I knew would make both of them hate my guts: I became a star football player, earned a scholarship to a fancy business school in Central City and worst of all, I became the slut of the school." James chuckled. "J.J. wasn't lying when he told you we used to compete. We were both know as sluttiest kids in the entire high school by the time we left and I had a special reputation as the hungriest cock hound in the entire town."

Lars was amazed. "Woaaaaaah....That's AWESOME dad!"

James laughed, shaking his head. "It's kinda silly thinking back on it. That I would go to such lengths to spite my siblings. Anyway, I got the hell out of there as soon as highschool was out. The distance actually helped me, Celie and Jumeres cool things down and go back to being friends. Of course, then I met Latriana and you were born. Having you made me realize how much of a lucky dumb ass I was. Here I had gotten into a wonderful school and I had started my job at the bank all to spite my family...and it would all come very much in handy to take care of my new family." James smiled. "That's part of the reason why I'm going back for this anniversary. It was them pushing me to be the best I can, if only to spite them, that allowed me to have as nice a life as I have. And of course, If they hadn't pushed me out, I would have never had the chance to have you Lars....I owe my family so much." Lars held his son's hands.

Lars warmly smiled. "It's kinda scary to think about where we'd be if your siblings were just normal..."

James looked into his son's beautiful eyes. "It's kinda scary to think about where we'd be if anything in life were normal..." James rubbed his stomach. "Well, that meal made me feel better. How about after I pay for this meal, we head back out?"

Lars shrugged. "I kinda don't feel like getting back on the road yet..."

"Meh, me neither." James scratched his head. "Well, we have some time..."

*   *   *

James and Lars laid in the back of the SUV with the trunk open. Relaxing on their packed clothes, they looked out on the countryside at the cars flying by and the clouds floating across the sky as the sun set, painting everything a beautiful orange.

"That's such a nice view...." James had Lars in his arm, snuggling him tight. "I'm glad I'm able to share this with you Lars..."

Lars nodded. "I'm glad to share this with you, too dad..." Lars leaned over and kissed his dad on the cheek. His dad grabbed the side of his head and led him back in for a loving kiss on the lips.

*   *   *

"Hey, it's Lars! That's the end of our first day on the road, only one or two more! If they're like today was, then I don't want them to ever end! See ya next time!"

James Alexander: Season 2
Father And Son: Episode Seven
As a Valentines Day treat, I'm giving you your daily intake of incest a day early!

On this episode we: Set a course for adventure, Discuss sibling rivalries and then break for lunch.

I can't help but think this one was a bit short...This is also the cleanest chapter I've come up with yet, not having any really sexual things...that makes it a bit more interesting to categorize XP
