There's a famous statue-like pose [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Parker_(captain) ] when it comes to the American Revolutionary War, one of my most inspiring fields of interest, and I decided to draw this picture, based on that stance.
I decided to take a more modern approach with it.
Anyway, it does take some loyalty to cast liberty. So, I used a dog.
And the Eye of His Divine Providence behind him, that's based on the saying, "Annuit Coeptis", that means 'He has favored our undertakings'. As if the Patriots in the 1776 war were watched by God in the endeavor to create the free world with their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.
