Page two of the new comic

Don't you just love how the one 'assigned' as hero and is always (or ends up) on some sort of journey to save the world?  (also for anyone who was curious, J'rar is 23, the typical hero in RPG's is...what...16-18? so yea...he's older than the typical 'hero' ;P )

Also...ever wonder where the hero was sometimes doing right before they were hoisted into a journey to save the world right?

When you get down to it, all stories break down into either "Hero Takes a Journey" or "Stranger Comes to Town." Even Joseph Campbell begins the "monomyth" with the call to adventure that leads the hero to go on his journey.

As to what he was doing before... If this hero was at all lucky, he was probably sleeping of a prolonged yiff. ~_^

Hahaha!
I was just telling my friend that anime characters follow the same logic!
You are either the little shit head child, the 14-16 year old protagonist, the 20 year old "last generation badass", or a wisened veteran.

And don't you just love how there is always someone around that will tell you way more than they should know, and end up following you around - spouting off even more information that some (Insert generic small town profession here) should ever know?
[Oh, and I love the breakage of the fourth wall xD That makes any game/comic instantly awesome]

In a JRPG, yes definitely 16-18 (and lower...) however I think The Courier's got a few more decades on J'rar! XD
