Hmm... Its strange to see this since  it has such a different art style then the first shoot. But no doubt this will be just as good if not better then the first. Can't wait to see what's in store.

Hehe, looks like I could have a favourite character... Humphrey! ^w^ N'awww, but this is looking like a very good start to the 2nd series and, being honest, I much prefer, at least Rusty's look in, this style more than the last. I loved the first series, and this series looks like it's going to have a lot more in store for it... I'm waiting in absolute anticipation as to how this chapter will unfold. =]

The first shoot had a more...'cartoony' look to it while this one is going to be taking on a more realistic appearance.

Looks like the art got worse.

many seem to disagree with that, but to each their own

everyone is openly entitled to their own opinion :3

I'm not sure if I like this style or the other one better. But Rusty looks more like a cat now. In the other one he was a little bit fox looking.

Anyways... I look forward to more of the story. :)

Not sure how I feel about the new style.

Why the change in style? Did the old artist leave or something? I'm not really a big fan of realistic furry art. Atleast not for anthros. It's not bad or anything, just sorta a surprising change as never said anything about it. Pretty sure it'll grow on me but liked the old style better. Never liked realistic art its like if want see that I'll look out a window, and yes I know anthros arent real but i have 4 cats so see that alot too. Anyways looking forward to the next shoot, and pretty sure this new style will grow on me.

really, the bottom outlet  in panel 3 has to be a smily face?

Wow, the proportions in this new style are way off O.o Detail is higher, but this artist needs some work on their proportions.
Michan

must agree on that the head in the first frame is way off but big plus on haveing the guts to try for a realistic style not many can pull off :D

Not just the first frame, all of it is off. There are very strong inconsistencies with the facial proportions and even the style it's drawn in. His right eye (on your left, 5th panel) also looks like it was drawn backward and is a bit too far up on his face. With the angle, it should also be smaller.

Normally, I wouldn't complain, but such a dramatic style change is unnecessary in the same comic, especially with so many inconsistencies/mistakes in said new style.

I actually prefer this art style to the previous one.  The characters in the first shoot looked too smooth for furry characters whereas this art style gives more attention to the fact that they are "furry" characters.  I like your new artist's work.  No offense to the previous one, though.  I look forward to the rest of the pages.  <3

Can't wait to see what happens in this edition.  I'll reserve my opinion on the new style for when something actually happens, though it looks promising.
What's with the DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD?

it was the line artist's attempt at making sound effects within the comic xD;

I'm not gonna stop reading, I am very interested in this project, but I just preferred the older art style. It's your stuff, go for whatever you like, I'll read it (And watch you) regardless.

I think the change in styles is neither better or worse, but different! And the difference, if employed for a reason -supporting the emotional value, or ambiance change, etc- may prove to be a delighting feat.
I can't wait to see what will become of this second installment.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

It's an interesting idea to have different art with each shoot, it's like a different camera is used for the second shoot
Germees
12 years, 7 months ago
actually the reasoning behind that is because Easy had tight time constraints and wouldn't have been able to effectively work on the comic this fall with school in the way...plus it offered no money which, as an artist, he needs xD;

I an going to give it a chance but I lived the cartoony look

Hmm. The first version of Rusty seemed to be cuter and more cartoonish, while this one seems more serious :P

Although I liked the cartoony look a bit better, I can't wait to see what's in store for Shoot #2! ((Also to see how it looks and feels after a few pages))
