i'm so done with art being needlessly difficult.
anyway, this was mostly just intended to get myself used to doing full-body drawings. i still don't like doing them at all, and even having multiple references for the body and pose didn't really help with constructing this. there were -so- many tech-related setbacks in making this picture i'm tired of looking at it now and have given up on the thought of shading it.
i did try a brush i haven't used before for the lineart though, and after only a few strokes fell in love with it as a lineart brush. i'll definitely be using it more later, depending on the picture anyway.

originally this Meowstic was going to be wearing clothes, but they're intended to be an AU version of my OC Silver, who.... doesn't really like or wear clothes in the privacy of their own home. which did have the effect of forcing me to try and put together a fully nude body, as otherwise i would've just cheated and used clothes to cover up things i didn't feel like drawing.
(yes, that -is- a book with a big pink heart on it about butts. you can't tell me you wouldn't want to at least casually flip through that book too.)
