Gantu was a yowie who spent his whole life in the same village.  A small little hole in the wall right by the sea, it was one of the most boring places ever.  The most interesting thing that happened there in a decade was when someone’s tamed mount went missing.  Turned out the stupid beast fell in a shallow hole and couldn’t figure out how to get out.  Gantu got so fed up of looking at the horizon that he said to himself, “If I have to lift up the sky, I will explore the ocean until the day I die.”  So, he packed up everything that he could into a ship and began to sail towards the setting sun.  On his journey, he traverse many islands of many sizes.  Spending days on them just trying to meet the people, if any, or see what interesting something or another there was.  After a year of sailing he found himself in a bare part of the ocean but this didn’t deter him.  He sailed on and on until his ship hit a reef.  But if there was one thing he was, it was stubborn.  So, Gantu got into a life boat and continued to sail towards the horizon.  His only light source at night were the stars and a single candle.  He kept sailing on and on until he came to the very edge of the sky.  Still stubborn as ever, he tore it up then continued on and disappeared.  No one knows where he is but all we know is that he is still exploring.
