So, started a Pathfinder campaign set in my version of the world of Goodman Games' Maximum XCrawl! In a fantastic alternate Earth where magic has always existed, pagan gods are real, and humanity co-exists with various fantasy races, The North American Empire is one of the most powerful nations on Earth, with a thriving economy and a strong military. And in the NAE, the most popular sport is XCrawl, where superstar athletes engage in, competitive dungeon-crawling as a live-on-pay-per-view death sport. The rules are simple: the Dungeon Judge, or DJ, creates an artificial dungeon under controlled conditions. But while the Dungeon is artificial, the danger is real, as are the mazes, monsters and magical traps. But fabulous prizes await the winners, such as gold, jewelry, cars, and a year's supply of furniture wax!
Meet the Olym-Pack, a starting team of Crawlers who have just started up in Division III, the lowest lethal division of the Games (which range from V [High School] to Unlimited). A team of mostly beast-folk is a bit of a novelty at this point, but they just might achieve big things!
