2020-01-23 There once was a little story on the Tumblr, regarding this picture. The short version of it: Cocoa and her parents had just arrived to NYC, but Joao's hotel reservation didn't go through (all of this happened in 1970, when reservations were made through smoke signals or something), and the Madeiras were asked to spend one night at a much cheaper hotel because their suite wasn't ready. Joao was flustered, Fatima was flustered that Joao was flustered, and Cocoa was just tired. So when they got to the Holiday Inn, Cocoa simply crashed. Hours later, after getting a bit of sleep, Cocoa woke up in the middle of the night, because she was thirsty. Joao took her to the machine in the hallway, so she could choose a soda. Cocoa chose RC Cola, because she had read somewhere (Poni's blog) ♪ that it was the cola of choice of Pretty Pink princesses. She had a few sips, then went back to sleep in between her Mom and her Dad. And that was Cocoa's first night in the US. ♥ -- Poni doesn't need to explain the drink selection, since some of the comments already comment about the drink selection, but here it goes: Crystal Pepsi and OK Cola are iconic (?) drinks from back in the 90s. They were not even available in the 70s, but Poni no care. Calpis is a popular Japanese sports drink. Soul Glo is not a drink! Rather, it is your hair's best friend, and it's the proud sponsor of Poni's furry porn. ♥ μ=0 is the "Sugarverse" brand of sex lubricant, and again, not a drink (the "mu" symbol stands for "coefficient of friction", which equals zero in this equation -- that is, "no friction") Brawndo has electrolytes. Four Loko is what you should've had for breakfast, every day. Well, back when it had an illegal amount of alcohol in it, that is. RC Cola is the cola of choice of Pretty Pink Princesses everywhere, and as such, Poni's favorite cola drink. ♥ |
