Scuttling Hive Spider Cryptid (Sleipnir (Misanthrope) )
Wyrms are a spider-like creature and are the second most well known 'god of nature' though they rarely take part in what the other gods are doing and simply keep to themselves. They can live quite happily in their hive villages without causing harm to anyone but they are a force to be reckoned with should anyone be stupid enough to wander into their territory.
Wyrms just want to live off the land and not cause any trouble to anyone however should someone be foolish enough to wander into their territory then they face being swarmed by armies or Wyrm.
Wyrms like to be constructive members of society within their own groups and enjoy a hard day's work however they do not take kindly to strangers and intrusions on their privacy.
Only the Naga know how old the Wyrm are since they have coexisted since before any of the other forms of life came to be. Naga uphold that they were the first to exist but the Wyrm state otherwise. Both are very wise and have had civilization since before anyone else. Wyrm would have more prevalence in the history books if they had done anything to aid anyone other than themselves.
Despite Wyrm living in huge hives they are not drones and actually consist of infinite numbers of large families and are not born from a central queen. In fact their societies are often run by a committee of representatives from the various districts of their settlements.
Wyrm are said to be able to live anywhere and thrive in all environments even those seemingly devoid of life. However their settlements are often hidden from view with ominous way stones and animal bones used to ward off potential intruders if they get too close to the hive's location.
Brown somewhat spherical body, cuboid rock-like legs that hover next to the body and a narrow cuboid shaped head with singular eye.
None though they may have pre-made traps planted in the area where they live and they can spit strings of sticky thread they can use to bind enemies.
