"A man's bet?" Chopper asked Luffy, a look of intense, curious confusion on his face.

Luffy nodded and held up his finger. "Yup. All you gotta do, is make a bet and whoever loses that bet, suffers a penalty. It's easy."

Chopper raised a brow. "Why is that a MAN'S bet specifically though. I don't get it."

"It's a man's bet because whoever braves the punishment gets a ton of respect for doing it. You know, like a man!" Luffy pumped his fists out with excitement to emphasis the manliness of accepting a proposal like this. Chopper couldn't help but get a sly, devious look on his face. Taking what Luffy just said and spinning a situational, ironic twist out of it sounded like it'd be good for a laugh. He put his hoofs to his mouth and giggled.

"Well, I've always wanted a pinata on board. How about I make a bet with you that whoever can hit a target with the most accuracy has to be strung up by a rope from the sail above the ship and get paddled on their underwear." Chopper grinned brightly. The image of him doing that to Luffy sounded so silly and funny. Plus, it'd be a "manly" bet but with something "childish" happening to the loser. What a weird thing.

Luffy blinked and tilted his head a bit. "Alright. If you want."

It didn't take long at all but Franky, the build master, had two red and white bullseye targets with metal stands set up on the deck of the ship. The two of them stood a good distance away from both of them but they each held a rock in their hands.

"Alright. Here are the rules," Franky raised his hand for emphasis. "No hitting below the belt! And no strangling people while they flop on the mat in their wrestling speedos!"

Usopp face faulted. "What kind of rules are those. You're not the ref for a wrestling match! They're throwing rocks at targets!"

"Oh? Whoops... I was all ready to be a ref for a mud-wrestling event. My bad." Franky grinned.

"You SET UP the targets! How did you confuse-?" Usopp was about to get on Franky's case when Luffy blurted out from where he stood, an annoyed exclamation.

"Get on with it! I'm getting hungry!" Luffy snapped.

Chopper looked this scene over. He had a very confident smirk on his face. He never usually did stuff like this but why not? He could be devious too when he wanted. Using his scope, he'd be able to hit the target with pin-point accuracy no problem!

"DING!" Zoro yelled from the balcony, nonchalantly revealed he was half-awake and half paying attention to this little experiment as well.

"Hey! I was gonna do that!" Franky shouted up at the swordsman in a huff.

"You take too long." Zoro shot back, watching the two competitors fling their arms back.

"One good throw is all I-" Chopper mouthed before he saw Luffy's arm stretch forward and tap the target with his rock.

"Did it." He grinned.

"... ..."

Usopp blinked. "... Huh... you know for some reason I was expecting something to blow up."

Chopper's mouth hung open and snot dribbled from his nose. His arm was still pulled back too. D-Did that count? Technically Luffy didn't throw it but they didn't specify that it had to be thrown so...!

"I WIN!" Luffy put his fists up and grinned, grabbing at the rope. "Now it's time for the pinata party!"

"WHAAAAAAAH~?!" Chopper freaked out. "Wait! Hold on! I didn't think of that. You cheated! Your arms can't stretch to hit it, you've gotta throw it! Otherwise, accuracy and pin-pointing the location on the target is meaningless!" Chopper flailed about, having banked on his more accurate targeting compared to Luffy's. He clearly forgot to factor in the stretchy powers and no matter what he said now.. he didn't say before that they had to be thrown now did he?

"Sorry Chopper but he did what you asked. Guess you're a pinata today." Usopp shrugged.

A minute later, Chopper was hung from the rope and being paddled like crazy by the pirate captain with his shorts lowered to his ankles.

WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! WHAP!

"Congrats Chopper! You've made your first Manly Bet! And losing only makes it more manly when you go through with it!" Luffy said with a bit of a sly look on his face himself. Those were rare for him but if anything Chopper didn't see it. He couldn't through the dizziness in his eyes as the pain radiated through his butt.

The cherry blossom briefs he had on were on display for the residents of the Thousand Sunny who cared to look and he wasn't okay with that at all. It was the only coherent thought that was managing to come through in the deep, pained haze of his humiliating display. His face was blushing red and his cries were shaky and erratic.

This is what he wanted though. An ironic display of the manly bet being done through something that treated the loser like a child. Oh well.

Off to the side, Usopp whispered to Franky, "You know... technically they didn't set any rules up so this could be null and void."

Franky put a finger to his nose. "Hmm... sure but... this is kinda cute."

"The hell kind of response is that? Seriously are you drunk today?" The sniper grumbled.

"I've only been half paying attention." He admitted simply.
