Amanda Fuchs at Dogtona Beach
Foxy Amanda Fuchs
This is Bertha Karhu. She is one of the secretaries to the officers of SoGa Industries and a co-worker with Amanda Fuchs. She is a 42 year old Grizzly-Polar Bear mix. She divorced her husband, a physically abusive Kodiak bear, of 15 years when she was 33 and has never been inclined to remarry. She is 6'0" tall and weighs 180 lbs. She has brown hair that reached the middle of her back and dark brown, almost black, eyes. During her marriage, she gave birth to two boys and a girl. Since the divorce, she has given birth to another daughter who is now 8 years old and is half otter. Although she can't remember the name of the father, she does know that, despite the fact that she was more than a little promiscuous after her divorce, she only had one otter as a lover. She is bi-sexaul and in a relationship with a fellow secretary, Wanda Anaguma, an American badger, but, Wanda is the only female she's ever been involved with and, given a choice, she'd choose a guy over a girl, even Wanda. However, she has a thing for Jonathan Poema, a 28 year old cougar who also works at SoGa Industries, although he is two inches shorter and 10 lbs. lighter making her a cougar to a cougar. He seems to be enamored with her as well because he always finds an excuse to visit her at her desk. Although she doesn't talk much about her marriage, she has dropped hints that it was an arranged marriage and that she was pregnant at the time of her wedding. Like almost all of the other females Michael Thomson has come into contact with since he was awakened, Bertha seems to have a bit of a crush on him.

This drawing was a commission by Brittany Shepard (evonallure.deviantart.com/). She also has a webcomic called Evon. It's a very well written and drawn comic which updates every Friday.

New to your work and it is awesome. The backstory to Bertha Karhu is just amazing and would be a great series.

Thanks.  I don't know about a series but I could possibly write a novella about her.  Many of the characters in the "Michael and Amanda" story have interesting lives.  Wanda Anaguma was married twice, has a son with each of her husbands, and found out she's bisexual because her first husband had a fantasy about it.  Michelle Tierboskat is a full-blood serval but her mother is married to a cheetah.  Because of prejudices about mixed-race/species pups, kits, cubs, and children, she was raped by a caracal boy when she was 14 and, as a result, she's been fearful of males ever since.  Finally, Amanda Fuchs is a full-blood red fox but she looks more like a tigress.  This is due to a genetic quirk of the Humanimal species in which reproductive DNA doesn't split longitudinally (lengthwise) buy by genetic sequences.  When an ovum is fertilized, the DNA is rebuilt using these genetic sequences, and the first sequence to arrive in the correct location is used.  The remaining DNA is held in the nucleus of the cell until it is needed to fertilize the next ovum.  Amanda's parents have tiger ancestry and, when Amanda's mother got pregnant with her, by happenstance, most of the genetic sequences to arrive were tiger DNA.

Whew!  Sorry for such a long-winded explanation but, I couldn't stop myself from explaining that in depth.

I loved the response. I don't comment much but if I can't explain in a sentence or two... let us just say I write a mini novel.

LOL.  Well, as you saw, I do that sometimes, too.

Oh, BTW, I'm no artist so none of the art you see here was drawn by me.  All of the art is commissioned, gifted to me, or adopted by me.  However, the story, "Beyond Appearances", was written by me.  It's based on the universe in which Bertha lives but it's about 10,000 years in her future.  If you'd like to read any other stories I've written, you'll have to go to one of my other pages, FurAffinity (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/drivernjax/), Deviant Art (https://www.deviantart.com/mviluuatusun), So Furry (https://mviluuatusun.sofurry.com/), or Furry Network (https://furrynetwork.com/submissions/stories/public/?pa...  Any one of these pages will have my stories on them.  I'd post them here on IB but, for some reason, IB won't let the stories post.

Thank you very much for all the links and am flattered that you responded to me. Many artist have time constraints and often just don't have the time. I got an Honorable Medical Discharge in March 2009 because I broke my as my neck in accident. I was hoping that if, as a Combat Medic, I got injured it would be like toe or one of my pinky fingers. LOL I'm kidding of course!

Please, don't thank me for my service. Most Veterans are just tired of hearing it. I joined back into the Army after being a civilian for ten years because they needed medics more than Combat Engineers as I was from January 1988 till February 1993. Both times were not for the freedom that so many take a shit on, but because they needed me when I was younger and when I was in my early thirties. My job was to save lives no matter friend or foe and I was really good at it.

One day I will post some pictures of Iraq and some of the awards I received on Facebook, especially my time with The Super Seven. That way I can prove to the non believers that the platoon I was assigned to took care of Saddam every time he was in court until the last week before his hanging.

Just one last thing. The last time men and women died to preserve our freedom was in WWII. Everything else has been for America's interests. I am not jaded at all but I believe in stating the truth when I can and lie when I am forced to do so.

P.S. I forgot to tell you that I am not paralyzed at all. I started getting my Social Security in 2015 after I got my Senator on their asses about it after SIX months of BS and then one phone call later and I had my court date two weeks later!  I have a lot of free time and it is nice but I really wish I could have gotten the years in the Army to retire from the military.

Sorry, I haven't replied sooner.  I've been rather busy trying to get my current story ahead enough to continue posting a chapter a week.  Unfortunately, I failed so I'm putting updates on hiatus until the first Sunday in September.

As for my responding, I always try to thank people for reading and/or following me.  I like to know that someone likes what I do and, as a result, I'm always willing to thank them personally for enjoying what I do.
