This looks amazing. I've seen a disturbing lack of C&C stuff lately.

Because we haven't had a (good) C&C game in 10 years. Even longer if you think Tiberium Wars wasn't worth your time.

They need to get westwood back together and put out a redux of Tiberian Sun, methinks.

They're mostly together already at Petroglyph Studios. They've even made a few RTSes while away from EA, including Universe At War: Earth Assault, Star Wars Empire At War, Grey Goo, and 8-Bit Armies and 8-Bit Hordes.
8-bit Armies is probably the closest they've come to recapturing the feeling of Command & Conquer at all.

This slow moving asshole. Represents all that's wrong with GDI. Super expensive, takes up so much space, loaded up with more guns then anything needs on one unit and just walks around the map like a zone bully. You know what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket? You lose all your eggs at once when I smash it. >:C

I, too, follow the teachings of Kane. I just also prefer to use GDI's technology. But yes, I agree with your assessment of the Mammoth Mark II; while I did miss it in a sense in the Third Tiberium War, I was more than happy to see a return of my beloved Mammoth Tank.

Aww, the Mammoth MK. III, now THAT'S a tank! Nod's heavy armor has always been a bit lacking I admit, and those Mammoths are beautiful, especially when mounted with railguns and given proper support.
I guess the best counter to a squad of stealth tanks is just slap more armor on it.
