An enthnic instrument was added called an "Erhu", which is a two-stringed bowed musical instrument, basically a Chinese Violin. Vocals were provided by Cait McWhir. She has an incredible versatility allowing her to freely cross between conventional folklore to ancient Sanskrit chants, Vedic mantras to free improvisation in self made languages.

I've been working on this track for 3 days straight, 5-9 hours a day, and I've completely lost my mind over it. I have no idea what genre it is now, or what mood it is supposed to have. You know when you've spent listening to the same composition over and over again that you eventually cannot see what is wrong with it, it gets worse and worse. So I am going to finally leave this composition as it is, and let other people decide what this track truly is.

One thing I'd appreciate people telling me, is there too much of a pause between vocal parts? Should there be more, or less?

Instrumentation:

Piano & Strings 3 from Collosus
Low Whistle from East West RA (Played in various styles, vibrato, sustain, staccato, expressive)
Various Percussive Elements from Percusive Adventures.
Koto (Played in a tremolo style)
Erhu from East West Ra
FX (Soundtrack) from Collosus
Forgotten Voices - Cait McWhir

absolutely stunning. amount of vocal is perfect. never too much or too little. if you wanna be nit picky i feel as if the piano is too "in your face" throughout. still, it doesn't distract too much from the piece :3

Thank you. Did this piece a while ago. I wanted to go back to it but left it as it is. The piano used was not the best, it was a combination of piano + strings in the same sample. I've used Stereo Widening for this piece so maybe that's why the piano was brought forward so much. I have learned to mix a bit better since then. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it. ^^
