Freddy and Ferdie had a particularly devious idea today.
The day at school wasn’t a very eventful one and the fact of the matter when it came to all days was that, eventful or not, they were all boring unless there was mischief going down. The thought of what they could do to prank someone who didn’t expect it overtook their minds throughout this particularly, extremely boring day.
It was akin to torture. One would come up with an idea, the other would shoot it down, and the one who came up with the idea would agree because it was a pretty unamusing and bland thing to waste energy on. It got so bad that they both found themselves laid against the wall of the hallway, sighing in unison before they spotted Ottoline walking right by them.
Their brains ran like clockwork and all of a sudden the two of them had an idea. It was an idea that one of them was prepared for but didn’t think it stood a chance at working. Wicked grins spread onto their then featureless faces as they watched her whistle and toddle down the way like there wasn’t a care in the world.
“She’s a bit overdo for a prank right?” Ferdie asked his brother.
“Oh yeah. Definitely. What’s it been? Maybe a week? Two?” Freddy smiled as he reminisced about pranks in days past. It was truly a thing he had trouble remembering. They were so good at it and so frequent at it that it was hard to keep what they’ve done on the brain.
Hard but not impossible.
With wicked gleams in their eyes, the two of them shot up and followed close behind her, grinning with excitement as they got their hands ready. It was time for the tickle fest.
One on the right and one on the left; Freddy and Ferdie shot to Ottoline’s side and smiled up at her awaiting the look of shock and awe on her face. It came supremely fast and she belted out a gasp of surprise.
“Wha-?! Y-You two? Where did you come fr-?” She began to ask before they answered for her.
“We’re everywhere.” The answer was said in unison just as they began tickling her sides up and down.
Ottoline stopped talking and stared forward when they began. She felt her eye twitch and her body had that terribly gleeful sensation run up and down her sides without mercy. The twins were tickling her and they were going long and strong until Ottoline’s face began to cover with sweat.
Her teeth formed an awkward smile and she shook all over, the beads of sweat cascading down her head like bullets.
“Uh-oh. Feeling it?” Ferdie asked.
“Don’t worry. If you’re not, we can go faster!” Freddy said.
Ottoline didn’t have a response to that. Instead, she belted out a tremendously loud bout of laughter that roared through the hallway. She wiggled about and waved her arms up and down superfast like a freight train going off the rails. It was an uncontrollable amount of tickling coming her way and she wasn’t at all poised to deal with it.
