What I think impresses me more than the accuracy of the art itself is how well you were able to add in all of the little physical deterioration that a typical VHS box would suffer from. Very nice touch!

I happen to have owned a copy of this at one time...But a quarter sized hunk of meteorite tore a hole right through the cassette tape during a meteor shower. No Lie.
I sent the makers an e-mail about this film...but at present there are NO plans to put this on DVD. Unlike the first two monster themed films there was something about this one that they just felt was to dark I guess.

Yes, Theodore became a werewolf, but I only recall Alvin as a monster, from an unfinished fan-fic. Frankenstein returned and changed Alvin into a marauding monster. As such, Alvin KILLED 2 innocent hikers and tore up their bodies, revelling in all the blood !

Omigosh, I thought this was real at first @_@ Your style for them is so close to the original (though I think yours might have a softer, cuddlier look - and that's saying something!), and you even managed to give it subtle signs of wear-and-tear like a real old VHS tape would have. I swear to God my grandmother had this movie in her VHS collection, she loved Alvin and the Chipmunks and loved keeping all the video's she owned in good condition. If I ever swing back to North Carolina I'll see if it's still there and try and get it from her. :p

I was wondering if this was fake, so I looked around for anything that wouldn't possibly make it to a Chipmunks official VHS cover, like dicks 'n such, but nothing. Had to check the comments for verification. Never considered looking at how realistic the VHS tape inside looked, though.

And yeah this movie seems to be rare as a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, no torrents, ebay, or amazon... makes me sad but it seems that also theres a king kong one thats also rare as heck.

Oh wow I thought this was a real movie for a moment. I always thought there had been three halloween movies as well but I could never remember what the third one is. I only remember Alvin playing card tricks or something a giant pumpkin exploding and cookies stuck to the ceiling in the opening part <w>. I don't remember what movie that was.. I remember it was a VHS though.
