Ahh, Chomper. Undobutedly my favorite character from the Land Before Time, especially after the improved visual redesign he received in the television show - where he also stole the spotlight time and again. A purple t-rex cub - how could that not be cute?

But it was always disappointing to see the big hungry predator-scaly be forced to forage for bugs and crawlies to sate his appetite. His herbivore friends meant well in training him to not eat meat from his birth - and thus keep the stigma of Chomper being a Sharptooth from causing any issues among the Great Valley community, especially when he took up residence there himself.

But as the child rex grows, more and more bugs would be required to sate his appetite...and bugs are generally small creatures, even in prehistoric times. Sticking to such a menu would cause him unnecessary problems as he continued to grow up, as the sheer number of bugs needed to be consumed to sate his adult appetite would be astronomical, and indeed, too much effort to catch...

Chomper may not want his "friends for dinner", but he needed to have his first taste of meat. That's where a certain 'Charmeleraptor' came into the picture...

The little Chomper seems to be hunting down his lunch for the day...but of course, the bigger one grows, the faster one's meals see you! The little bugs are quick to skittle off from the young Sharptooth, but the patient purple pred keeps at it...

But what's this? A Charmeleraptor appears from the brush, watching Chomper's efforts to earn a meal... Such a species is not often seen around the Great Valley, or even known, for that matter. The young tyrannosaurus is too focused to notice his observer, until the orange raptor clutches his head and raises it upwards...!

The Charmeleraptor grinned playfully as he energetically spoke to the still-surprised Chomper. The larger lizard did not seem hostile in interrupting the rex's meal, but strangely...charitable? If that's what you could call someone who offers to be eaten!

Chomper's brain churned around the surprising statement, still trying to cope with the sudden appearance of the mysterious other scaly. His maw opened, his voice attempting to form some sort of answer, but all he could express was a confused "Whaaaaaa-?"

Chomper's confused sounds rambled on, the Sharptooth not noticing the drool beginning to collect in his agape maw... However, the Charmeleraptor had noticed this quite quickly, and apparently determined the salivating to be good enough for an answer!

Chomper gasp-muffled as the fire-dino fell forward gleefully, planting his muzzle into the rex's mouth. The young Sharptooth nearly backed away from the whole situation, until the voice of the raptor rumbled out from inside his maw...

Show? How would that work? What would that be like? But... "No..." Chomper said bashfully, his voice muffling with the mouthful he had. He couldn't do that...could he?... He mulled over this hesitantly, not noticing as his tongue slowly slathered over the scaly snout in its domain...

Chomper urk'd as the fire-raptor continued to press forward, the orange creature's arms already digging deep into his throat, the eagerness of the strange scaly to explore his gullet quite clear indeed. The Sharptooth only had to step back, spit up, and he could stop this whole...situation...

But...

The purple rex looked away, his face blushing hard as the Charmeleraptor's head disappeared past his teeth. This lizard in his throat tasted....g-good...

A moan escaped the tyrannosaur-cub's stretched lips as he finally formed a word... "Y-yuuuum.." This was...wrong...right? Chomper knew he couldn't have...friends for dinner...

Except...this wasn't that. This was...a stranger for lunch. Not...wrong at all...?

Chomper closed his eyes tight in thought, as the stranger's chest slipped past his tongue.

No... Chomper had decided, and firmly at that. He knew he couldn't eat his friends...or their families...or anyone they cared about.

But a stranger? Yes...he could eat a stranger...just like...the one in his maw. No...no. He HAD to eat. He WANTED to eat!

The young tyrannosaur's jaws ached from the massive undertaking they were being stretched by, but...suddenly, he no longer cared. Eyes shut in a wince, the purple dinosaur fought through the pain. He was a predator...a carnivore!

Somehow, he forced his head to buck upwards, hoisting the Charmeleraptor off the ground. Chomper's broad feet helped him keep balanced during this action, but he still felt as if he would fall due to all the weight outside his maw. This was not an issue from him; he wanted the weight INSIDE his maw, after all!

He couldn't look back now. His tongue slathered over the fire-dino's soft stomach as the rex gulped HARD, pulling that wide belly past his pearly-whites. He could taste the creature filling his mouth and throat...a robust, strong, firm, spiced taste. So this was the taste of meat...real meat! With this single meal, Chomper was already blown away as to how much BETTER meat tasted from bugs... Even the tastiest crawlies paled in comparison to this!

The t-rex could feel his stomach distend as the front of his meal began to fill it, his gulps and swallows beginning to descend his food faster as his system finally acclimated and loosened to the stretch upon it... Chomper rested a paw on his bulging, squirming gut, entranced by how wonderful everything was feeling...!

The blush on Chomper's cheeks began to fade. He wasn't shy anymore...this...this was fun!

As his food's thighs came close enough to lap at, the Sharptooth could tell he had already nommed the hardest part of his meal, and was filled with a new energy as he realized how close he was to finishing his lunch...! "More!" he mumbled between gulps, a ravenous growl escaping with the word!

Chomper was surprised to find how quickly he could swallow the plump orange hips of his meal, leaving him with only two paws and a tail-tip protruding from his mouth. He was at first worried by the strange fire at the end of the raptor's tail, but soon noticed it was only warm, and pleasantly at that.

Grinning happily, the Sharptooth paused to allow his drool to collect on the soles, tasting the sides of the yummy feet with his tongue and giggling as the ticklish paws responded with a good amount of flexing and toe-wriggling. The rex-cub was almost going to miss the feeling of squirms in his throat and mouth...but his stomach was waiting, already gurgling impatiently for the rest of the meal to collect into it. He knew he needed to give it what it wanted...and plus, he could get more squirmy-meals later, right?

Chomper yawned open his maw, and simply waited. He could feel his body rippling around its lunch, and with the assist of gravity, the meal slowly sunk into his muzzle. The purple pred sighed in a satisfied bliss as this occurred, the toes and tail slipping so nearly past his lips...

As his eyes were still closed in bliss and concentration, Chomper did not notice as another creature broke from the brush not far away - his friend, Littlefoot. The Longneck let out a gasp as he saw his friend's bulged form, and watched as the orange toes and tail from an unknown dinosaur disappeared into Chomper's mouth...

Snap-gulp! The tandem sounds marked the end of Chomper's dining. The rest of the Charmeleraptor's form easily collected into the little tyrannosaur's gut, the Sharptooth's many inner-muscles throbbing automatically to push down the meal...and then? That was it. Done.

Chomper breathed a sigh of relief and satisfaction, wobbling on his thankfully-steady feet as he panted and rubbed his forepaws over his huge gut. Every shift the meal made left an imprint against his stretched scales, causing a bit of pain to the Sharptooth but an even greater feeling of satisfaction.

He had done it. He had eaten meat...and so much of it too! A living creature - something so much more advanced than a bug. Chomper shivered a bit as he realized he was going to soon digest a fellow dinosaur...but strangely, he was not worried. This was right...this was what -he- wanted. If he managed to put something into his belly, then he got to decide its fate. It seemed only fair... And it was such a tasty fairness too!

Chomper's belly groaned and rumbled, bouncing about as the meal inside seemed to almost rub against the walls surrounding it... "I'm glad to see how quickly you learned..." a voice, from his meal, rumbled out faintly around his gut's gurgles. "I'm glad to see I awakened you, Chomper... Have fun!"

Chomper beamed a bit at this, patting the head-bulge of his meal with his paws in thanks. He did feel proud of himself...and while he still did not understand why the Charmeleraptor wanted to be his food, he was so glad for the opportunity...

Whew! Chomper began to feel a bit sleepy from the meal, and soon thumped his butt onto the soft grass behind him, leaning back on a tree to help support with newly-massive weight.

(It was not surprising that Chomper hadn't noticed Littlefoot yet, considering that the Longneck had been left speechless and confused by the events that unfolded!)

Chomper hugged his feet and paws around his gigantic belly as he rested, still amazed as to what he could handle...his gut was practically the same size as he was! The gurgling sounded much wetter now, the gut slowly taking on a more-spherical shape.

"Ahh!?"

Chomper's eyes snapped open as he heard the familiar, though squeaky, voice. "Oh! L-Littlefoot!" he exclaimed, finally noticing that his friend had been standing there during a good deal of his feeding.

The Longneck looked aghast towards his purple friend, causing the young rex to blush a bit.

"He was wanting to be eaten! Really!" the predator exclaimed with an honest expression, a satisfied burp escaping his lips as his tail thumped against the underside of his gut.

Boy, Chomper knew he had a LOT of explaining to do... But he wasn't worried. He knew he could get Littlefoot - and the rest of his friends - to understand...understand how happy this had all made him. He wasn't planning on keeping this a secret anyways.

Littlefoot cocked his head. "Wha...what do you mean? Chomper, I..."

Chomper giggled a bit, a grin returning to his snout, as he patted the ground to the side of his giant gut. "Here! Sit down and I'll tell you allll about it..."

This is 8-part comic done by lustbubbles! This is perhaps LB's most impressive work, partly due to the sheer length of it. Lust, thanks again for this amazing little story! ^..^

Also thanks goes to LuccaManadragon for adding color to page 1.

Sorry to say, there are no plans to continue chapter 2 at this time beyond the cover page, but who knows in the future!

If Chomper ever needed meat to survive when he grows older, he could fight kill and cannibalize other Sharpteeth that threaten his friends.
