Finally finished moving and got settled. My workstation is set up as best I can for now so I can start sketching. Unfortunately the table I have that holds my tablet is too high, but I ordered a new chair that can swivel and rise up for this occasion.

Anyway, one of the things I've been wanting to draw is Vanilla from the side to show that she doesn't have arms. This isn't a common thing (outside of some parts of Botanorest and several Neutraninjians), but I always imagined Vanilla as being armless and really flexible with her legs and feet. She does have ghostly hands that allow her to do things you would with arms, though since they're ghostly and intangable, she can't use them to balance herself. She can float using ghostly powers, but she's extremely acrobatic so she contorts her body to keep herself balanced in all kinds of situations.

Being ghostly, Vanilla is kind of like a succubus. She also inverts pain where she gets stronger the more she's attacked. However, this leaves her vulnerable as while she's near invincible, she can't really take a beating. (think having a ton of HP, but very little defense). It helps that she's the descendant of Soula, enabling her to make the most of her grandmother's abilities.

I'm not linking my website because it's going to be overhauled possibly. The links should all work the same, but I need to do some research. I learned of a new framework from my job that combines a lot of libraries I use into one big thing (Angular 4), but it will require me to completely overhaul the website's code, so I'm going to do this slowly while keeping the old pure javascript version available. I'll explain all this in a journal.
