Lynda showed up fairly early to the restaurant. She meeting a couple of friends there to get dinner and then head to a show. But traffic between her house and the restaurant she shows up really early or potentially really late. Deciding this was a good opportunity to people watch, Lynda showed up early and when to the bar to get a drink.
The coming and going of people was standard fare until a unique lady walked up the bar and sat down. Lynda was amazed by the woman's ability to exude equal parts strength and femininity in her physic and dress. Usually not an outgoing person, Lynda could not help herself but try to have a conversation with the cheetah; maybe, even strike up a friendship. Getting up from her seat at the other end of the bar, Lynda walked along the bar towards an open stool next to the person of interest. The last quarter of the distance took as long as the first three quarters. Lynda could now clearly see the scowl and general look of disinterest as quire looked distantly into the rest of the room. Now nervous and second guessing herself, Lynda placed her drink onto the bar, sat down next to the cheetah, and did her best to not look nervous and break the ice. "So,... you here early to avoid traffic as well?" Mentally face palming for such a dumb question, Lynda waited with little hope for a good response.
