Character Description
"H-hey, everyone. My name's Cameron Julien Roth, but... y-you can just call me CJ or Cammie if you want. I'm a small fennec fox who... uh... is only four and a quarter feet tall and just over seventy pounds. So... yeah, I'm really tiny, but... It's fine! It actually has its upsides, and besides, lots of people say it's cute.

Personality
CJ is a shy young fennec fox who often keeps to himself, but if you get him to talk to you and open up a little bit, you'll find a kindhearted boy who loves to talk and play. He may be a little "weird" with his feral habits and all, but he's still just a nice boy.
He does deal with depression because of his upbringing, and he also has to deal with mental disabilities such as Asperger's syndrome, but he tries not to let them affect him too much.

Background/History
While you would never be able to guess if you never saw CJ's more feral habits, he actually spent the first three years of his life surviving in a forest in Nebraska, either abandoned or lost, along with one of his best friends, Clement Argent (my mate ArgentFolfsky's sona), a folfsky--fox/wolf/husky. Seeing the two cubs as their own kind, the animals took them in and helped them survive in the wooded environment.
However, when CJ was approximately three years old, and Clement was approximately two and a half, the two of them were found by an eight-year-old red fox cub named Alec Roth. Noticing that these two tiny cubs were all alone, Alec brought them back to his campsite, where his parents and Clement's future parents, the Argents, were.
Concerned for their safety, the families took care of the boys for the duration of their campout over the weekend. When they got back to their hometown of Omaha, the Argents had already decided to adopt Clement. The Roths, on the other hand, were not so sure despite the bond the young fennec had already seemed to form with their son, nearly being attached at the hip to him at that point.
At the constant requests of their son, they finally chose to adopt the little fennec and raise him as their own. Much to their surprise, he was a quick learner, learning how to speak, read, write, and walk within less than two years. Some of his feral tendencies, however, such as sometimes walking on all fours and running around without clothing, remained, much to his father's chagrin.
Wanting his son to be civilized and "normal", he used punishments to eventually get CJ to mostly drop his habits, only resorting to them when his father wasn't around.
After that, the fox lived a mostly normal childhood throughout kindergarten and first grade at a Catholic school, even though he was shyer than your average five- or six-year-old. In second grade, though, he realized something that once again set him apart. He realized he had a crush on a boy in his class, and he was close enough friends with him to tell the boy what he felt... only to get ridiculed by said friend.
With his school being religious, his teachers, of course, did not approve, and his parents found out. That was when things began going downhill. His mother was not very approving of it, but she was not particularly hard on him. His father, however, was extremely harsh, and turned from being a loving, if very strict, adoptive father into a man who CJ couldn't even identify with anymore.
Constantly punished for "gay" and feral-like behavior, the fox developed depression at a young age, and he really only had his brother and a couple close friends to help him through it all.
All in all, however, he still turned out okay, and you'd probably make his day by getting to know him.

Body
Since he is mostly fennec fox, he does have huge ears, a small snout, and a rather small frame. However, he is also part red and silver fox, so he inherited his fur color from those, as well as his tail length. His markings are rather unique, alternating between red, silver, gray, and black, and his skin, pawpads, and claws are black, as well.

When by himself, CJ prefers not to wear any clothes besides his glasses (even though those don't really count), but his casual clothes usually consist of...
Summer
During the summer, CJ will rarely wear anything long, mostly wearing jean shorts and t-shirts or muscle shirts. He also rarely wears shoes, although when he must, he mostly wears sandals during the summer.
Fall/Spring
In the spring and fall, you'll often see him in a t-shirt and jeans if he's inside and it's warm, or in a hoodie and jeans if he's outside or it's cold inside. He prefers not to wear shoes if it's not too cold, but if he does, they're normal tennis shoes, normally black ones.
Winter
Inside, he will wear the same attire as during fall and spring, but outside, he will be bundled up as much as he can be, which often means a bulky coat, jeans, most likely with pajama pants underneath, and shoes.
Accessories
You'll almost never see CJ without some kind of electronic device. Usually, it's his phone, his MP3 player, or a portable gaming device, like his Game Boy, DS, or PSP.
