Esther Lenssen is a 28-year-old Bat-Horse hybrid. A former guitarist for the band Pushing Daisies, Esther currently lives in New London with her roommates Catt Wilson, Penelope Clark and Anastasia Williams. She easily navigates through echolocation (she especially likes the screeching when she's said), but doesn't have a steady job. Catt meets her on the streets as Esther accidentally went onto the wrong plane (she was originally heading to Arizona to perform, but decided to leave the band she created after spending a weekend with Catt and her friends).
Quinn Mary is a young adult Opossum with a mean and solitary personality. Living in a storage room of Catt's flat, she refers to herself as a "charming vagabond with a heart of gold." She has an androgynous appearance and speaks with a thick Irish accent in public, but in a softer tone in private. She is the missing granddaughter of Queen Valentina, but Catt finds it best to not bother her "challenging life anymore than needed."
