Another little something for my favorite anonymous benefactor. ^ω^
The Rep City Rockets and the Brontosaurus Bombers had become close allies after a nasty debacle involving criminals and hypnosis, and had starting practicing together in time for another round of practice for the junior leagues. One weekend, the Rockets' coach had to bolt off on some official business (fighting crime) and the Bombers' coach decided to use this as an opportunity to allow them to coach themselves, rather than struggle with handling two at once, one unfamiliar. He instructed them to come up with a game to build up personal familiarity and team morale. It didn't take long for them to come up with something, and when they were fixing to start, two boys appeared from the stands. Spanky and Bobby, they were both late due to having woken up late and cuz of missing a bus respectively. So the rest of the kids told them they were playing a game to build up team camaraderie, and since they were late, they'd be first in the hot seat. Spanky asked for the rules first, but they agreed to tell them only after getting them set up. The two tardy boys looked skeptical, but ultimately agreed to it. So they tied their ankles to the bench, bound their toes together, bound their wrists behind their backs, then slipped a blindfold over each of their eyes. They both grinned in anticipation, slowly tilting their feet side to side as they waited. They explained the rules, that a person from each dino's opposing team would tickle their feet. This made them both gasp a little, curling their toes at the thought. But they kept listening. They had to determine who, on the other team, is tickling them. And then they'd switch to the next set of hands. This would go on until they figured out every name. So as the tickling started, so did the boyish laughter and frantic wiggling. It's awful hard to tell a person's identity from their hands alone, save for the one kid who didn't have finger claws. They just named names at random and figured them out within a few seconds. This was going by too quickly, so one of the boys pulled one aside and worked out a little something. They went to the back line, so they could get away with it without stopping anyone else from having their fun. They switched places with each other, tickling their own respective team mate instead. They both called out the only remaining names on their teams, anticipating their relief. They both let out little shrieks when they found out they were wrong. They started naming names wildly at random, repeating them a few times. All the other boys snickered to themselves quietly as they watched the two tickled boys entirely unaware of the fast one that was just pulled on them. The tickling kept going and going, and their laughter escalated with their helplessness as repeating name after name did nothing to stop the relentlessly titillating teasing. It took them ten minutes to realize what was going on when Spanky figured out that he should call the opposing players names. Bobby realized it not too long after Spanky's tickling finally stopped and soon stopped his own by naming off a few more names. Their teammates untied them and they flopped to the ground, still giggling and panting. All they could really do right then was little more than waggling a finger at their sneaky friends for what they did, but they had fun with it. And after a brief respite, they were both amply ready to get some well deserved tickle-vengeance on their other teammates.
