It may be hard to believe, but there really was an NES version of Space Harrier! It was ported by a company called Takara and was authorized by Sega!
Unfortunately, this version was only available in Japan, and is hard to find in cartage format. Also, there where some things missing from this version the Master System version had. On the positive side, it did feature smoother animation.
faved!! I always loved Space Harrier :D My ungle had Space Harrier II for the Mega Drive and i used to play the Arcade Port on my Dreamcast in the game Shenmue! :) Very lovely remix!!! Instrument selection for each voice is very good!

Thanks. ^^ I think SHII was a lot harder, if I remember correctly, it had a lot of spots that forced you to fly faster and weave through randomly generated slaloms. x.x

*corrects his error. He meant Uncle and not ungle* Oh and yes, SHII was REALLY tough at times :O But i managed to beat the game once...... with an action replay cheat-cartridge ;3 Muahahaha My uncle used to have a lot for his Mega Drive back then.
