I feel very deeply about individuals who find such doubt in themselves and how they may express themselves. I feel moved, bound towards them even. They have a weight inside themselves that draws peering eyes inward, and it is because of that sight and vision that they may grow terrified what is seen will amount to little at all. They gravitate this world around them. Were the audience a god who made them as they are, they would kneel and clasp their hands in solemn misery and grace, pleading for mercy and kindness.
Some people have stared upon our work, and in ways we have made shadows that loomed over another. Their hearts and minds covered beneath their clenching grip, uncertain, unsure and fearful we might destroy them so easily and without compassion. I've been told that some of us are nothing but destroyers. Loki's of chaos and madness without redemption. Yet we are still afraid, still angry, still so unsure and relentlessly desperate to be known, to be loved, to be embraced.
The audience is not the deity. The critics and influents are not the makers, they are the sentinels. The watchers whose eyes point us in new directions so that we may not see with only two eyes but infinitely more. And were you to bear this great burden of wondering if we shall destroy you..you may discover yet that we are not loki but mischievous children waiting for you and only you.
Were you to stare into the eyes of the creatures that torment you so, that you believe you are not good enough to face.. you needn't be on hand and knee, but standing toward as a workman of your love, who should never be ashamed. You should not be ashamed...
..you should not be ashamed..
