It is January 1992...The train approaching is the freight train that Pancho Meerkat stowed away a ride aboard an open boxcar leaving Cuangar. The train made a slow down passing through the local village in which Pancho hopped out to spend the night in the village...It was in the morning when Pancho met Sy Aardwolf.
I never linger on railroad tracks if a train is coming, day or night. There's a railroad a few blocks between my home & the bus stop. Passenger service ended in the late 60's. It's all freight now. Too many freight trains.
