My grandparents were hardcore Christian zealots who made me go to a private Christian high school, I had already come out to my parents, but my grandparents didn't know, my mom and dad both loved and supported me but they told me I should never tell my grandparents because they would never support me as much as my parents did.
While I was in high school a bible teacher who I very much didn't like gave lessons that were biased and opinionated. He told us that being gay was unnatural and that god absolutely despises them. I was a Christian for a long time and I went to church, and I still am a Christian, I just don't go to church or gather with other Christians because of how I know they will treat me. I love god and I know he loves me for who I am, I know if my parents supported me the way real parents should, I know he supports and loves me just the way a real father would. and I want anyone who is gay and is a Christian to understand this message, because I believe it is powerful.
If you aren't a Christian I'm not trying to get you to become one, please don't take this the wrong way. I would ever try to force someone to be something their not.
