Kion and Jasiri
As a new day was rising above Pride Lands one could notice how a small creature was making a very careful escape out of the peaceful kingdom, and straight into the much more dangerous Outlands.
This someone was none other then Kion, son of the King and the leader of The Lion Guard.
He wasn't running away cause he had done something bad, but more that he was going to have a secret meeting with someone very special to him.
Her name was Jasiri, and she was a Hyena.
Because of a very long history in the past about Lions and Hyenas they where not on very good terms with each other, and while the Lions was now living where there was a lot of water and prey to feast on, the hyenas had to settle for surviving into the outlands.
Kion was raised by his father to never trust any hyena, and while at first being on his guard when meeting Jasiri for the first time, he very soon started to get soft for her.
Thanks to some circumstances that stranded him all alone into the hyena filled lands the assistance of Jasiri had not only helped him make it back to his friends, but also made him learn that maybe not all hyenas was as bad as they where seemed to be.

Making his way over to her now in this early morning Kion hoped to be able to spend some time alone with her before having his family worrying about where he is. (As besides his Lion Guard buddies, nobody else knew about his secret friendship with Jasiri.)
Still the lonely lion cub wasn't feeling scared about the chances of him running into any other hyenas (Most notably Janja and his gang), since he always had his trusted roar to go with to scare them off.
He remembered a certain place that Jasiri had showed him when they first meet, and felt very sure that it was there she was waiting for him.
The place in question was a small pond that almost acted like a oasis for this otherwise dried up and dead looking environment, and just as he had expected she was waiting for him next to the water.
"Kion!" The female hyena child said as she quickly ran up to greet Kion, who was just as delighted over seeing her again. "So great seeing you again!"
"I have also missed seeing you Jasiri." Kion said before trying to think out some fun stuff for the two of them to do. "What would you say if I took you to the big water hole in Pride Lands, and we could have a nice swim together?"
Jasiri in return looked a bit smug as she said, "I can make one better. How about we just swim around here, in the pond?" as she showed the seemingly much smaller container of water.
"But isn't that just like a few inches deep only?" Kion asked confused, to which Jasiri giggled a little and explained that, "It is a lot deeper then it looks, and I can show you just how deep it truly is!"

In the next second she started to run towards the small looking pond, before making a quick jump into the air and then dive fully into it, disappearing in front of the eyes of Kion!
The pond was indeed a lot deeper then one would give it credit for, as the small hyena child managed to swim down 6 feet before reaching the bottom.
Once there she was planning to simply turn around and the jump back up, but upon taking off she felt how one of her feet was stuck!
Looking back down she could to her horror see that her back paw had managed to tangle itself up into some underwater roots, and she was truly trapped now!
Given the small space she had to work with all Jasiri could do was to try and wiggle herself free, but the roots needed more then that to let her get loose.
Feeling the air running out quickly from her (as she had not been planning to stay underwater for all that long) Jasiri started to panic as she looked up towards the small opening to freedom, and feeing so far away as she could be!
As the pressure in her lungs was getting harder she looked up again to see that he vision was starting to fail her as well.
Almost like a gate-wave to heaven she could see what looked like Kion's face starring down at her, with the glowing light of the sun almost shinning like an aura all around him.
As her vision was getting dimmer and dimmer she could see how that face of Kion was the only thing still looking clear as it got closer to her.
And closer.
And closer...
And...........................

"Urhg...AUCK! GASP!!!" Jasiri let out as she tried to get some much needed air after first coughing up a lot of water from inside her lungs.
"Huh...who?...What happen?!" She asked confused as Kion explained how he had been seeing her struggle from underwater, dived down there himself, and crawled over to her stuck paw to help claw and bite the root off before taking her back up. (And on the verge of her almost drowning none the lest.)
"I thought I was going to die there!" Jasiri said in shock.
"Yeah. I was really worried for you there too." Kion added as he laid down next to her for some safe company.
"On second thought, I think I might prefer just spending the time laying here with you today Kion." Jasiri said as she still felt a bit weak in her body from the shock of everything.
And Kion (Being the always gentle and carrying soul that he is) laid his head on top of hers and said that, "Then I will make sure to give you just what you wish for."
