Lord Malice, a disembodied spirit of evil, longs to return itself to it's former glory. Here, he has taken hold of the mind of Tanek, one of the only two people it can directly control, as shi is part of it, though a separate entity.

Tanek began life as one of the good guys, but through years of abusive relationships, the betrayal of allies, and many, many deaths at the hands of both friend and foe, shi slowly began to lose hir mind, becoming more eratic with every resurrection, until shi ultimately becamee the perfect vessel for Malice to take over.

Tanek is usually reserved in combat, preferring to outwit, rather than outgun, hir enemies, but when Malice takes over, shi becomes a true force to be reckoned with, and allies and enemies alike are fair game.

The other half of this entity is Knazarath, Tanek's biological brother, whom has more control over his dark side than Tanek does hirs.
