My boyfriend celebrated a Trump win, I became depressed over a Hillary loss. That doesn't mean anything, though. We're still together. We still love each other. He told me everything was going to be okay, and that Trump won't do half the things he talked about doing. And he won't let Pence do anything to take away our rights, either.

The media has said a lot of things (many untrue) in order to paint Trump in a bad light and to take some of the attention of the far worse stuff his opponent has done. That's why people are rioting.
