loosing a wing is like loosing a hand or leg. By healing wound, the wound would be healed. There would be no regrowth. So with that the wing would possibly not be able to grow back by any magic means, as the wound is closed for good. By healing cocoon with regrowth spell on it, it sure is the better idea. That is like basic-magic-healing-knowledge. And the more I do wonder, will the little changeling princess evolve? with possible evolving certain cuts bruises, wounds and eventually lost limps might regrowth. Depending on species. So far this aspect is rather unknown on changelings, since they are some sort of magic-insect-ponies.
