Personality

Let's get the basics out of the way first. She's a compulsive kleptomaniac. She loves to steal things, especially items of value and her persona has also kidnapped people on multiple occasions. Though it's a gimmick it very much defines her character's persona. She's often very cheery and can be cute when angry. She's often very clever at outwitting people. She's easily distracted but highly observant. Abnormally strong for a bird especially one as skinny as her she uses her strength without a second thought often to other's surprise. Very strongly friendship driven she can be quite cunning and cruel in her revenge should her friends be threatened. No respect for anyone who stops her or her friends doing what they want to do she often gets in trouble and usually with the authorities. A good actress she can deceive people well and often has convoluted and elaborate schemes that don't always work out as she planned. Not exactly an introvert or and extrovert either, she dabbles in both.

Likes/Dislikes

likes her friends, likes using her mind, especially to trick others, and likes stealing, dislikes the authorities, when her plans don't work out and people she likes being in trouble.

Background/History

Magpie joined Puppy Paws back in the late 90's however they didn't become a member of The Monster Crew until after the millennium. Despite getting on well with Mon, The Monster Crew was getting pretty crowded by the turn of the century so Mon was reluctant to let any more members in. However Magpie continued to be good friends with Mon and she was admitted into the group as a special case and today she's considered more of a member than some of the people The Monster Crew consisted of back then.

Magpie is very much a pest but a lovable one. Opinions have generally been split on her since the day she arrived. Some think she's great fun and others think she's just annoying. She often takes part in events but has hardly anything of major importance she has made of her own. Because of her obsession she can be nightmare to play against or with in multiplayer games and it has also become her gimmick which she plays up to a lot. Recently however she's been a bit overshadowed by the newer members of The Monster Crew as she rarely takes part in things any more other than a silent work hand.

Relatives/Family

has both living parents and a brother who doesn't have the same surname as he adopted his wife's surname when he married.

World/Setting

usually appears in a setting much like the real world but with anthropomorphic characters however their actions usually don't have bad repercussions.

Body

black feathers with a white patch on the back that spreads up the back of the neck and the back of the head and down onto the tail, white feathers under the tail stretching between the legs and a white patch on each arm that starts on the back of the hand, travels up the pinkie finger side of the forearm to the elbow and then up the outside edge of the upper arm and atop the shoulder. also has a white beak and blue iris.
