AJ already won a fight, and if she deflects this, logic dictates it'll hit Rarity and put her at one scratch to purification, AKA death. I say have her hit the attack, but her sword breaks. More epic that way without making AJ a Mary Sue.

If she does deflect it, I'm giving up until the next part begins. The fight has gone on too long as it is, AJ just keeps getting closer to being a Mary Sue, so if she successfully deflects this, I'm done with this chapter. The dragons, okay, she has to pay a lot to use it, Rarity going McCree, acceptable, but AJ deflecting Rarity's only attack thus far and prolonging an already overly lengthy fight that THE ENTIRETY OF THE CRYSTAL EMPIRE AND SADDLE ARABIA must have heard about is going to take this to DBZ levels of 'WHEN WILL IT END?!'

At this rate, when it does end, I feel like the only outcome to this battle allowed by Lil AJ's OP status (if she deflects this attack) is Rarity getting purified so that she falls into a river and her now purified corpse floats away, never to be found so that AJ doesn't have to face the consequences of what she did.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, a troll, or a bully, but thus far Rarity has tried her damnedest to stop this by diplomacy and running away. If Rarity's only attack is deflected, or worse, redirected back at her, then Lil AJ is OP. End of story either way.

I'm about 75% with you on this ('specially the part about wrapping up , but since we've already seen a Manga Hero Attack Call(C) start on one page & get followed-up on another, perhaps Applespawn's due for a pattern/trope-breaking reversal of fortune for this round. Even if the shot's (intentionally?) whiffed, might be fun to see Squiggleskunkstripe teleport up close & utterly thump Ms. Humanoid Hands with bare-hooved martial artistry.

Well we'll see how this plays out. I will say that I will be surprised and regardless whether Little AJ be flexed or misses her deflection catches a full force.
