There are people who stare into the sun and witness the entire spectrum of light..yet their ego and fear, impatience and apathy...leads them to believe they could only see black and white.
Color is power.
There are people who equate distance with safety. That consider apathy and aggression to be a construct of strength. Hate is an illusion, and it conceals a truth that in haste to hide your heart, you yield to fear, speculation, and doubt.
Fear and Hate is not your power. It is the one that controls you.
If you'll permit a request..some day I want you to let all those things tilt out and flow from that heart of yours. Whether it's your hope for the future, your dreams of the past, your worries and doubts. I want you to let it all flow out, and I want you to create something with it. I want you to show me, all of us something that not everyone believes in, maybe even you. That you gave meaning and depth to anything and everything.
You, my dear, deserve to see more than what may simply be believed. If you've been holding yourself back, come and sit with me sometime. It's a lie, you know. The one you might have told yourself once upon a time. The one that said growing up meant divorcing yourself from being young at heart, or doing the things that could make you smile or laugh. You...my dear..deserve to have some color in your heart.
