It is a normal day as Emily and Allan walking to the mall. It's almost 3 weeks ago when Allan got put in Emily's paws and Allan still fights with his new life as a 2 year old lynx kitten. Allan still has problems coordianting his legs, which causes him to wobble and waddle, but Emily is always there to hold Allan's paw and keep him upright. After a short walk they finally arrived at the Mall where Emily needs to get some stuff before they head home. They walk really slowly through the mall and Allan can't stop seeing in every store they pass everytime with big eyes even he can't explain why because he still know the shops when he was big but still he was still kinda excited to see them.
1 Hour pass until Emily finally finishes, pulling Allan into every shop she has to go. Emily smiles as she grabs the last shopping bag „Done! We can finally go home Allan“ Allan looks up to Emily and gives him a nod with a quiet „Oki“. So they pass by the last shops and one of the last shops is a big toy store with lots of toys in the window and other cute kid stuff. Allan instantly stops to simply stare at the window, his eyes growing wider while his legs wobbled in excitement. Emily chuckles softly as she sees the little one wobbling and staring into the toy store window, she kneels down right next to Allan and whispers into his ear „Hey Kitten, if you want something in there, we can go take a look.“ Allan kinda jumps as he gets pulled of from where he was and blushes „I dunno. I-I dun think i can find something...“. Emily just raises an eyebrow and shakes her head „Ha i think you will love it in there. Let's go in there and see what they have“ she says as she grabs Allan's paw and drags him, not so voluntary, into the Toy store. Allan shivers as he gets pulled into the store, uncertain of how he should feel.
Emily drags Allan infront of a big shelf full of big, small plushies and other toys, smiling „There we are! So now don't be shy and take a look.“ she says to the small Lynx who hides behind her Leg. Allan slowly taps forward and looks up and down the shelf still not sure how he should feel, his views went from big toys for older cubs down to the plushies he kneels down to have a better view at the plushies and behind big bears he sees a small lynx plushie.
Allan kinda crawls into the shelf and picks the lynx plushie up, he looks at the plushie as he was out and at the moment he was thinking back in time when he was really a little cub he remembers that his real mother never allowed him a plushie like that and how sad he was at the time and he always wished to have a plushie like that. Allan isn't sure if Emily would react like his real mother. Allan suddenly hugs the lynx plushie so close as he can and is afraid of turning around to show Emily the plushie and asking her if he can have it he just stands there hugging the plushie for a few minutes.
Emily looks perplex as Allan is not turning around „Hey Sweetie, is everything alright?“ she says softly to Allan. Allan just stands there, still to afraid to turn around. he shivers but he knows there is no other way, he has to turn around and ask Emily, so he hugs the lynx plushie the last time so tied as he can and slowly turn around and reveals Emily what he found. Allan still shivers and looks up to her with a really sad view on his face, Emily just looks down to him not knowing whats wrong with him as Allan finally says kinda stammering „C-Can i keep him?..“. Emily smiles down to Allan and nods „Of course you can Sweetie, why should i say no huh?“. Allan nuzzles into the lynx and mumbles „I-I dunno m-my real mommy didn't buy me these plushies...“ Emily is just speechless when she hears what Allan says, she kneels down and hugs Allan closely and softly whispers to him „Don't worry, If it makes you happy, then of course I'll buy it for you. I want you to be happy, and it might help with your situation right now!“ Allan nods and sobs „Oki thank yuw so much...“ Emily gives him a last hug and smiles at him „Okay then Sweetie, how about we take him to the checkout huh?“. With a big smile on his muzzle and still holding his new plushie in his arms they go to the checkout where Emily pays for the plushie and they finally leave the toy store and they heading to the exit. On the way out Emily glances down to Allan, whom is busy swishing his new toy back and forth with a big smile on his face „And, Sweetie? Do you have a name for him already?“ Allan starts to giggles and nods, still smiling „Yus i have a name! Max!“ Emily chuckles and nods „That's a good name!“
