I don't know a single brony who has ever watched the show on TV. A few on torrents, maybe, but that was before people got the HD streams up on youtube.

Yeah, all the episodes are online on youtube, they tended to be out within a day of the episode coming out, then but hours and then minutes of shows being broadcast. XD Then along the way, there was live streams of the show going on all over. But all episodes can be found on youtube still, as Hasbro sees it as promoting the show rather than infringing upon it. At least, that is the verdict for the moment, who knows about the future.

I strongly dislike the term bronies. It irks me to no end.... though strangely not the reason i'm not into MLP:FIM. I would totally be into that show but I've only watched the first few episodes with a friend and then they went and watched the rest without me, and I can't watch any more by myself since I don't have cable and I have this weird mental thing about not being able to easily watch TV shows on the internet. When I do eventually get to watching it more though, I will still never accept the term brony.

I don't like the term brony either, it just meh to me. The term Brony is from bro and pony (well dur, lulz) and bros are usually the /b/-tards way of referring to each other. When FiM was found over on /co/, the fans called themselves Colts, which was fine and should be the name for the fandom, Colts for males, and Fillies for the females. But when they left /co/ cause 4chan started destroying topic, they went from /co/ to /b/ and then became bronies.
Also, if you have trouble watching, say, the youtube episodes alone, there is two pony channels http://www.synchtube.com/r/Filly and http://www.synchtube.com/r/Yaridovich that tend to show the episodes in sort of live stream and you can talk with other people while you watch.
