just to let you know, comics in PNG format pages are going to take a lot of space.  high quality JPEGs work just as well, but it's not my place to tell you how to work it.

(I hate the new Looney Tunes Show)

heh i saw a little bit of the show....wow...they REALLY wanna reinvent lola.  from the show's perspective, yeah i see why they need to add some kinda quirky characteristic to balance bugs' personality, but geez why did they make her look like THAT?  i seriously wonder what train of thought lead to the design of her current state.  O.o;;

They reinvented all of the characters. Witch Lezah is a stereotypical black woman, Gossamer is a little kid going to elementary school, Taz is a dog, Speedy Gonzales owns a pizza restaurant, you already saw what Lola was (crazy), Pepe Le Pew is a flamboyant marriage organizer that has been divorced many times, Elmer Fudd is a working man that has an unnatural obsession with grilled cheese sandwiches that boarders on the erotic, Yosemite Sam is more environmentally friendly and more of the "annoying chum" rather than the hated enemy, Foghorn Leghorn is a rich entrepreneur and adventurer that is trying to make a movie about himself and his life, Mac and Tosh are blatantly gay... and many other characters where changed as well. The only character that is still kind of close to the original, is Porky Pig. They didn't even try to find sufficiently close voice actors for most of the cast too.

I really just can't stand that much change. (even the art style and animation changed)

wow i didn't know they changed THAT much o.o;;;

might as well not call it Looney Tunes.... =/

There's hardly any music either... So I'm not really sure where they get off calling it Looney Tunes.

(If you're not sure what I'm talking about, I could tell you. It's a cool story)

Well... It all happened decades ago... Nearly 80 years ago. Warner Bros. came out with a home television series called Merrie Melodies, which started around 1933 and ended around 1969, and presumed different names as the rights to it were passed around. Looney Tunes preceded Merrie Melodies and was WB's first animated theatrical series. Looney Tunes lifespan was similar to that of Merrie Melodies, being from 1933 to around 1967. Here's where the names Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes were found. Back then they were particularly pleased with how they made accurate frame-rate to go with the animation's audio. This was accentuated through the use of fun bouncy music, and quirky dialogue. Music was a very important asset of cartoons, and the animators and directors knew this. They brilliantly choreographed the animation with the cartoon, to make it seem like it flows and works well. This is best shown through a little Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon called "Tom & Jerry". This lineless cartoon made sure that it (when out of the cold hands of Chuck Jones) seamlessly worked with the music, to where the music would do all the talking for the characters. Another example would be the famous Disney animation "Steamboat Willy".

In result, Looney Tunes was named so for the music, hence "Tunes" instead of "Toons". :3

Also, here's another example called "Touchdown Mickey" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnn3YzxtwZg . Pay careful attention to everything that's happening. See how it seamlessly integrates itself with the music. Every movement, every line, even every step that they take is on beat with the music. Seriously, pay attention to around 2:18. All of their steps are directly on beat with the music. It does stuff like this throughout the cartoon.

All cartoons did this, but sadly, they don't anymore.

hehe i just watched Touchdown Mickey.  wow thats some insane gags going on o.o  and yea i saw what u mean with the animation going with the music sometimes even step by step.  i wonder why they stopped doing that :o  is it a lot of work to time the animation with the music?  or do they think it's an old method that shouldn't be used again?  =/

It's a work ethic issue... Everyone is too lazy to do that anymore. There's a lot of work that goes into creating storyboards, animation, and timing, as well as having to create, develop, write, compose, and play music that is directly choreographed with each movement. Though it is the "correct" way to make a good cartoon, it is "too much work" for all of the lazy animators of today's era. I don't know why they complain so much, when most of the animation is done in computer software programs, instead of the conventional frame by frame drawn animation, each cell sketched, inked (using India ink, and an inkwell), painted, and shot. The animators of today have it good, but still say it's the hardest thing in the world, and because of it, put minimal effort in it as possible.
