Ok continuing to work my way through the old sketch spree from a while back and working through my procrastination I've got a new pic of my Otter character Danny originally done by Ltsmiley now on his new page :iconVoidShark: Been a while since I did a pic of him so happy to finally correct that. ^^

Today was a great day. His father had decided it was high time they got out and had themselves a little vacation. So after inviting Arctic along the trio had piled into Mr. Jemerson's car and all packed with supplies and ready for a 3 day weekend at the coast. Of course Mr. Jemerson had a bit more planned. It'd been a while since they took out the boat. He had squirreled money away for a few years before and after Danny was born to buy it and had quite enjoyed the times they'd spent on it as a family. But it'd been years since it'd seen much use. Life having gotten too busy. As they pulled up to the dock Arctic followed along after the two otters quite confused. He'd been expecting something with maybe enough room for a grill. Instead he was faced with a rather nice two deck boat. There was the deck itself which was rather nice and open, the second level under was a small living room and kitchenette with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Below that was the various stuff that were the guts of the boat as it were. Danny grinned big at it and scampered on over to the moring seeming a bit more energetic and overtly cubby to Arctic than usual. Arctic watched the two otters undo the morings and then urged him up the boarding ramp. Arctic followed along somewhat caughtiously. He'd never been on a boat like this or on the open water like this really.

They gathered in the "Captain's Cabin" there Mr. Jemerson started up the engine and before they knew it the boat was pulling out from the dock and out into the water. Mr Jemerson pulled the boat along spotting a few more here and there before he throttled down as they entered water he deemed "Deep enough." Shore was still easily in sight but it was obvious the water was fairly deep which made the little white bunny all the more nervous and seemed to invigorate his otter friend all the more as they headed below deck to get changed and get some swimming in. Arctic was breathing deeply now as Danny quickly stripped down and in no time at all was dressed in just a pair of speedos. Energized as he felt though he wasn't completely oblivious. He noticed how slow Artic was taking getting ready. Futsing with a diaper tape on a diaper that was quite soggy given the nervous state of the bunny wearing it.

"Come on lay down I'll help ya." Danny offered with a smile putting a paw on Artic's shoulder and gently pulled him over to the bed.

"O-ok." Arctic nodded and laid down on the bed after kicking off the shorts which had still been around his ankles.

"Nervous about swimming in the ocean?" Danny asked point blank as he untaped the othr side of the soggy diaper and opened it up.

"It seems so deep and big and....Yeah." Arctic said blushing beneath his pale white fur.

"Don't worry me and dad will be right there with you the entire time Ok. You'll be fine." Danny assured him as he wiped his bottom clean before pulling a swim diaper from Arctic's bag and slid them onto him with a grin.

"Yeah I guess your right." Arctic nodded with a smile at the change before tilting his head. "Say how come your not wearing a swim diaper too?"

"Cuz I'm not so open about it. I mean where everyone could see. We're not that far away from shore." Danny said rubbing his shoulder now his turn to blush.

"Heh. Still afraid of someone catching ya in a diapee." Arctic smirked and shook his head as he grabbed his goggles out of his bag.

"I guess. Maybe when it gets to dusk." Danny said as he and Arctic made their way back to the deck where Mr. Jemerson already was in a pair of Hawaiian themed swim trunks.

"Ok boys Now remember there's a access later on each side of the boat and the swim platform at the rear's already been lowered so we can use that too. Don't wander too far from the boat and keep dives shallow." Mr. Jemerson told them as the two nodded. "Alright then. Lets get wet!"

"But I already was before I came up on deck!" Arctic giggled unable to resist the joke.

"Ok Ha ha get in the water." Danny laughed and gave him a lil shove to the back where Arctic climbed down onto the swim deck followed by Danny.

"Hey what's that?" Arctic asked pointing off to the distance a bit. Danny still standing shielded his eyes as he looked.

"Hey dad look! The pod's out today! See em?" Danny asked excitedly as his father joined them.

"Yup and I think I see Matilda in there. She's got that notch in her fin." Mr. Jemerson nodded with a smile. "Well looks like your in for a treat Arctic. We'll get to see some feral Dolphins today."
"Come on I'll introduce ya! I hope they still recognize me." Danny said and dived into the water as if he were at a swim meet. Mr Jemerson slipped in next waiting for Arctic who after taking a few calming breaths joined them.

The trio swam out a little ways, Arctic and Mr. Jemerson staying at the surface while Danny swam along just under until surfacing as the pod neared. The Dolphans swam around them and the one with the notched fin swam right over to Danny who grinned and greeted the animal running a paw over it's smooth back before getting a shock as a smaller dolphin surfaced nearby.

"Wow! Matilda your a mom!" Dann laughed and smiled at the little Dolphin that circled at a bit of a distance as it's mom swam over to gree Mr. Jemersen who was busy keeping Arctic calm and introduced him to the friendly animal. Arctic's face lit up as he got to pet it.

Meanwhile Danny took a deep breath and dove under to get a better look. He could see other members of the pod swimming this way or that as a few came over and began greeting too. Danny swam slowly over to the baby and held himself in place with a hand out to it. Aftr a few moments the curious little dolphin swam over to him poking his hand tentatively with his beak. Finally after a bit of that though danny smiled as he was able to pet it and a new friendship with a new creature of the sea was born. Danny couldn't think of a better start to their vacation out on the Deep Blue sea.
