it has been a long time coming, but its finally done!! after about a year of working on this piece i have finally finished a version that i am happy with and feel is appropriate for posting and to showcase my music!
the reason it took me so long to finish this is because the original idea that i had, just wasnt fruitful enough for me... i just couldn't get any good ideas to branch off of the opening lines, but i still have the file and may revisit it one day. then when i came up with my second rendition, i was using old recording software, so then when i upgraded i wanted to rerecord what i had on the old software.... so here we have the finished product (at least until i decide to go back and edit things, because i am so self critical! XD)
also i hold myself to these stupid rules and criteria, because I'm weird like that XP so i refused to work on anything else until this song was finished! but here we have the finished version and i can FINALLY start work on the various requests i have received and the ideas that others have approached me with! so keep an ear out for more stuff to be coming in the future!! another rule for this piece was that besides the drums the only instrument i wanted to use for this was my 7-string fretted electric violin, known as a viper... i wanted to create something not only for IB and for myself, but to also showcase some of the different and unique sounds i can get out of such an amazing instrument!!!
one more thing! i really wanted this to be a special piece for Inkbunny, so therefore, i am leaving it to my watchers to suggest a title for this song! please leave a suggestion and i will select the ones i like the best and put them up for a vote in a journal! (please be tasteful, this is a special piece that i have been working on for a YEAR now....)
finally after so long this piece has finally received a title, voted on by the members of this great community here on Inkbunny! i have now uploaded a remastered version of the song along with a thumbnail
