Well, it's that time again; after some long consideration and some discussion, I've decided that it's time I gave my pricing a small bump in price. It's not a linear rise in prices this time though; this time, I wanted there to be a fairly steady progression from tier to tier, to keep it in line with the amount of effort and time I put into these pieces as well as their resulting quality. I'd like to explain my reasoning for the prices too.

In most cases, the price increases have been to bring them closer in line to the current quality of each finished piece, since the amount of time and effort put into each one has risen markedly over the last year and a half; indeed, sometimes my smooth colored linework even has a certain painterly quality to it, so I wanted to make the pricing a bit more uniform for it. I actually decided to keep sketches at the same price as before and only give a $5 increase for inked pieces, since these generally don't take me too long unless a LOT of detailing is called for. I want to make sure that even though my work can get pricey, that there is someplace for those looking for less expensive stuff can get satisfaction! Apologies if these price increases are outside of your comfort zone for commissioning; I've experienced the same thing myself with the works of others. Looking at it from both sides of the coin, however, I think it makes sense to make sure that I can continue to do all this fun work for you peeps without having to worry too much about how I'm going to afford things going forward.
