We have had the pleasure to interview the new McCready Family in their own home. A few questions were asked. Here is the scoop, Interviewer Callie Osmett will be talking with Tobias and his wife, Galatea, about the adoption of the wolf pup refugee twins. The twins were rumor to have come from the border between our capital and the 7th Sector Dire Wolf country after The War of Absolution had ended a year ago. A war that ended in a surrender of the 7th Sector after the death of King Dorim in in the eve of summer by the hands of the Necessary Resistance. Reports was later issued of the twins mental and physical health after a long journey from their home town of Cas to the border which was used as sanctuary for the dire wolf refugees to come to who didn't want conflict. General Herod reported the children were half malnourished and sterile due to the elements of their home country. However, with the care of Tobias and Galatea the twins are healthy and strong. They own a home in Vectra District in the state of Lucia. The twins, Bastian and Sybil McCreedy attend at Vectra Middle School. Some of the locals have reported that the children live a comfortable  life with their new family. Unfortunately, there are other who stigmatize the children, making them easy targets for scrutiny and slander against the 7th Sector Dire Wolf War Arm's crimes against the colonies. Tobias and Galatea have thus far manage to keep the children protected from such attacks. A neighbor reported the house being spray painted the word "Traitors" and "Sympathizers" on their back wall. Another usual attack that had plague the refugees that had come before.

Callie:Does the attacks on your household bother you ?

Tobias: Not really, these 'attacks' are nothing more than cowards bored with their lives.

Galatea: We make sure to keep a small watch about the house before we go to bed. After we put the children in their room.

Callie: Must be tiresome for you both to always check for any slanderers before you go to bed and wake up to go to work.

Galatea: Nonsense, our training made us physically fit to do our 'patrols' about the house.

Tobias: let alone handling a mob that come knocking at our door.

Callie: How are the twins handle school? Have there been any issues?

Tobias: the first day was rocky they almost didn't want to go. Bastian adjusted pretty well in his classes. Sybil, was... difficult. What we learned about the children, we don't separate them. Something we specifically instruct the school to not do

Galatea: They like to stay that way, we figured it was beyond them being twins but a need to survive together. We avoid topics like what happened back there in 7th Sector or what happened when they reach the border. When they are ready to face their trauma, we'll be there for them.

Callie: What about difficulty adjusting to a new house and new parents?

Galatea: Very, though Bas was a bit more comfortable. Syb was a bit more, troubled. However she stayed only because she would not abandon her brother. I was not about to let her go to another home either.

Tobias: She was definitely a grumpy cat towards Social workers to the point where they were literally hanging the phone to faux concerned neighbors.

Callie: The active members of a hate group aimed at the 7th Sector Refugees. The Capital Fundamentalists. What did it take for the children to feel comfortable in their new home?

Both: Patience.

Tobias: a healthy environment

Galatea: and mostly a lot of love to give and received. The twins just seemed to be more accepting of us than any other family.

Callie:This question is for Galatea. You were pulled out of the country once the war was over and Tobias opted to stay behind to secure the refugees. How did you react when he brought the twins home?

Galatea: Well he didn't 'bring' them home. He asked could we take them in. I was not reluctant nor hesitant. Our union is based on one thing. Doing the right things in life. Or doing what feels right. I felt the way he felt. It was right to take them in. I never regretted our decision to take in these wee pups. I wanted children with this male of mine. I got what I wished for through these brave pups.

Callie: Sounds like the family structure is strong in this household. And your photo is indeed a clear indication it is happy. Any plans for the future of this family?

Galatea: Nothing yet, for now we just want to watch them grow into modeled citizens of our Capital. They aspire so much to be good and help others who have come to believe they have no future. It will only get better for them.

Tobias: The kids .. hehe, they want to become Enforcers. They want to represent the Shield their parents were that kept them alive. It's a very grim thing to say. But it has some weight to it. Maybe with a little bit of adjusting.

Callie: Ok I'll wrap this up with a final question. What do you have to say for the families that are watching this interview?

Tobias: to those who assisted and supported our adoption more to the power to all of you.

Galatea: And to those who are against it and only exist to stop it. I pity anyone who bangs out our doors with the intent of hurting our pups.

Callie: I'd like to thank the two of you for the opportunity. Continue what you are doing and may you have good fortune and health. This is Callie Osmett with the McCreedys.
