So did a little art thing, drew the cutie mark of Clearwater, my batpony OC. She’s somepony I made a long time ago that I’m going to be using in a Fate game. Wrote a story for her, too:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Clearwater always found the magical combustion engine in her vehicle interesting. She knew a bit about it, having helped her father in his garage countless times, but there was still so much to learn. Of course she didn't need to learn how it worked as long as it kept working. Her father always told her that she ran it too hard, that she should stop pushing it so hard, that it was going to give out on her eventually. But she didn't really care. She had to push it in order to do her job.
Legally, she was a 'personal driver,' whatever that meant. As far as she was concerned, it meant driving anypony, or any thing, from point A to B as quickly and efficiently as possible. Sometimes legally, other times...not so much. It was the not technically legal drives she enjoyed the most; it was always so exciting. It was also the not so legal jobs that got her so many friends. Well, they weren't really friends, not in the regular form of the word anyways.
But some of them had a soft spot for her, and would get her, “Anything you need,” if she asked. Which she did. Quite often. These 'favors,' as they called them, were cashed in the form of free meals, car parts, and the occasional 'not entirely legal' object. She knew the streets inside and out all over Detrot and the area around. She knew all the back alleys, side streets, the nooks and crannies of the road. Every bump and pothole was an acquaintance. Every stop sign and street light grudgingly acknowledged. Every other car an obstacle.
She was nothing like her father, the grumpy old mechanic, or her mother, the free spirit. There was always debate at the back of her mind whether her parents actually loved each other, but they had at least done so at one point, or else Detrot would be short one bat pony driver.
She often missed her mother, who was always off traveling the world, searching for that, “next big wave,” as she called it. Surfing was her life, and Clearwater wished that it was her life as well. She had only been surfing once and it had been the calmest day on the water on record. No waves at all. Just smooth water as far as the eye could see; just the calmness of the sea. Her father had worried that she would panic out there on the surfboard, or be angry that she couldn't actually surf, but panic was something that never came to her. She was always calm as the calmest of water. Of course, she never held herself to this and often let herself explode with excitement or anger, but if she needed to she could brush it all aside and drive. That was her talent.
Her mother said that she was the, “Most zen pony that I've ever seen,” and would laugh. Clearwater wondered how many ponies she had actually met while exploring the world. As far as she knew, her parents were still 'technically' together, though they hardly saw each other. The last time she had seen her mother, at least ten years ago, she had given her a surfboard. She hadn't gotten to use it, but her mother showed her how to care for it and how to ride it.
It was hooked up to the top of the car, rigged to be able for her to ride it and practice. Whenever she had a few moments to spare, she would fly up onto the board and pretend that she was riding a wave through the city streets. Someday she would go surfing and actually surf, but there was always something keeping her from going...
