It was the girls day at the swimming hole, they had fun even if some boys were hiding in the bushes near the watterfall.
Another work from the tablet at ShaunCo. Fantasy studio.

A 78rp Edison Record * I have has the title "Down at the old Swimming Hole"  by Ernie Jones & Billy Hare **,and its flip side is a recording of "In the Old Town Hall" sung by Billy Hare.

* This shellac disk is 1/4 " thick -Edison's way to make it unbreakable (Columbia used a felt layer, Victor did NOTHING and I lost some disks due to that). Also unusual was the use of hill & dale cutting(grooves get shallower & deeper to record sound. These will not play on some phonographs.). Two of my acoustic disks are hill & dale, the rest are lateral-cut.

** the Happiness Boys of antique fame.
