A prayer hotline what-if
Lots of churches were in the paths of these tornadoes. So was I. Guess where the tornadoes went.
My house was nowhere near the tornadoes, but I most certainly was. If this was an act of God, He must have incredibly horrible aim.

This picture was inspired by seeing a picture of a smashed car with a Jesus fish on the back.

Tornadoes are pure chaos.
(1) A pair of trousers with several thousands of dollars in cash in the pockets was in a house when a tornado hit. The farmer found the trousers and money, in a cave, along with a dead hog, a pump and a washing machine.
(2) A basket of book was blown 2 blocks into an attic.
(3) A railroad station was wrecked and a lamp put where the ticket office USED to be. It was still lit !

Rejoice that I am an atheist, tho I believe in the soul.

The time hurricane Sandy hit, my town was right in its path. I was anxious, as the last 2 times the power went out (hurricanes), it stayed out for a whole day, and part of the next.. The current did flicker, and I grew tense. Then it stayed on. A few blocks away, trees and power lines were down. Now little trace of the pillage remains, and can not be spotted by anybody NOT familiar with the area.

I was anxious because the past 2 power outages spoiled my day (TV, computer, lights ...) and the house was getting colder. I decided after 2 days of this and the start of a 3rd, I would put up at a hotel if the power was still off. I was anxious about that,as my town is markedly deficient in hotels. When I arrived home, I was delighted to see the neighbor's lawn lamp-post lit. Power finally on. Now all that remained was to reset all the clocks that weren't battery powered...
