Character Description
A mean, stubborn and somewhat racist captain of the guard who's not afraid to bend the law but hates to see it broken. A real lout he's a good pal to his own and those that can take a pounding and come back asking for more. He settles many things with violence since he's not that clever but he can hold his tongue and plot another person's downfall even if he needs someone else to make a good plan for him. As long as you work for the law he's a reliable ally but break the law and you've made a powerful enemy. Even if he doesn't agree with what he enforces he is honor-bound to see it through and takes pride in his ability to do so.

Personality
Angry and bitter he's a real hard case and has little tolerance for anyone. He may have to enforce the law but he gets to choose how he does it. A man of honor he lives by the sword but isn't afraid to bend the rules in his favor. The only time he smiles is when a drink loosens his tongue and a torrent of colorful speech pours out. He worries about the state of his towns people and how they've adopted the peace-loving open-minded approach but he has no fear. A good friend to his comrades in arms and a reliable ally but a fierce enforcer of the law and a dangerous enemy. He's capable of plotting but he's not too smart on his own. He believes violence is the answer to many of life's problems but he's keen not to overstep the mark. Ultimately he likes those that can take it as much as is dished out and admires bravery even if fool-hardy. He's intolerant and spiteful but he's also a good old bare bones fighter with a thirst for adventure and a taste for the coarser things in life.
Likes/Dislikes
likes tough guys, cocky guys, brave guys, stubborn guys, drink and loutish fun, dislikes having no freedom to do as he pleases, having to enforce what he doesn't believe in, seeing the town go to the dogs and people who think they are above him.
Background/History
Nam was born just after the Meka-Urga war and grew up while his hometown was in a state of change between having strong Mekan views to a milder and more open-minded society that accepted Urgan views as well. In fact in Namakun's eyes it looked as though the culture of his parents and their parents and so on was slipping away as Northspark started to lose its identity and slip into conformity. Angry that he had grown up in a culture that was now dead he joined the armed forces to hold onto his warmongering ancestors little bubble of surviving culture. Instead the conquering army became a peacekeeping force and then the local authorities. The force absorbed the new pro-Urgan views much to the distaste of Nam and despite becoming captain he found himself enforcing the very ways his fathers had tried to eradicate. Resentful but very much bound to his honor in serving his duty he hates his job and the people around him but is way too stubborn to let the town get in the hands of some other peace-loving freak.
Relatives/Family
Nam's family live all around Northspark. He loves them but cannot share their modern views.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Monsterville is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, though Olrit county in particular is very much modern day. Monsterville is mostly forested and has a European look. It's home to a lot of unusual wildlife and often hazardous kinds. Diegoltun City is the main setting for the Monsterville game which this character is from. The city has a wide range of businesses from shops, craft works and restaurants to offices, entertainment and tourist attractions. There are also several smaller villages around Diegoltun and the city itself is sat next to a much larger city known as Olrit.
Body
gray hull with blue eyes and red mouth from his Plasma drive.
Clothing
he wears red imitation leather gloves and boots and a fabric vest and shorts combo. His helmet is also red with a black Mekan logo on the forehead.
Accessories
Nam fights with a javelin and shield combination. Any other items are other officer's business.

Northspark was always going to be tricky having a strong Mekan civilization sat in the middle of a heavily Urgan area. It makes sense when you consider that the Mekans were pushing into Monsterville's territory in hopes of reaching the more Urgan settlements to the south but it poses a huge problem. How did the Mekan settlement last this long without being overrun by angry locals and after the war was over why didn't they leave? Saying that it's where they called home is okay but how do you stop the two sides from tearing into each other? The idea of the town defecting from their Mekan leaders to join the Urgan side was an obvious choice but surely there would be remaining tremors and racial hatred. To that end Nam was created as a bitter old war general in charge of the authorities in the town but hating the fact that he's ultimately under his former enemy's control. It created many ideas that bounced back and forward as he's torn between his old duty and his new one. It also helps that Imuko Nenaioh is very radical which is something Nam can't stand one bit since it draws the two conflicting sides of his motives together in an intense conflict. Ultimately it should be the players decision as to the outcome of this and so he was made playable. Being very much out of the way of the main game by having such strong ties to an area outside of Diegoltun meant that plot-wise he was a loose end. However the "colorful" town of Northspark provides endless dilemmas that tear at Nam himself and thus make for good writing.
