Background/History
Growing up , Jasmine and her family has favored an “off the grid” lifestyle and most of her life, she grew up that way, in favor of connecting with nature and the various predator and prey animals she would come across. Her affinity with animals and being able to calm the most vicious predators like wolves and mountain lions, especially nursing them back to health has also given her the nickname “Disney Princess” often by friends and family. Even her best friend, Azul, a velociraptor who is an actual princess would call her that.
Jasmine and her family had to leave the forest during her adolescence due to the fact her parents’ job— her mother being a neurologist and her father being a Biologist, required less time to travel to and from work. Yet they still kept their green policies by composting, housing a chicken coop and an apiary in their backyard. Thankfully the yard was large enough to hold such things.
Moving didn't seem to sever Jasmine’s connection to nature. Rather, it improved it as she tended to strays and even some lost wildlife that needed to be rehabilitated. One such creature was a mountain lion cub that was hit by a car and she nursed it back to health in a year. Unfortunately, it could not be released into the wild but she would so often visit the wild cat and it would howl for her when it sensed her presence at the sanctuary it resides in.
