Haha, I like the shotgun and I like the pic...my favoured weapon is also a Shotgun, except it's not the Combat Shotgun, just a fully upgraded long, twin barrelled shotgun which I named "Rose" xD
As for the battlecoat, when I first met Maxson I couldn't help but be like "...I like your coat...that's a nice coat..." though I never got round to um, procuring it. :p

Mhm, it's true that it can be rather difficult with only 2 shots but, I'm...I guess you could say somewhat "old school" in that sense lol
I've always had a thing in many games where, if there is any kind of twin barrel Shotgun/pump-action, bolt-action rifles or 6 shot revolvers, basically anything that isn't an automatic, I really love...especially the twin barrel shotgun xD (I think that can be blamed on Doom :p )

Hmm, I have to try Survival at some point...my first playthrough I didn't change difficulty so a .50 cal (sneak attack) shot is rather effective hehe
My current playthrough I switched up to hard...though it's not really very "hard", just playing around for fun really.
I have heard/read that Survival doesn't really make it too much more difficult either, just makes enemies huge damage sponges and limits how quickly health regens with food, but still.
Also...I didn't think about using console command to spawn Maxson's Battlecoat, then again, I quite like the Drifter outfit also and with a mod, it allows me to add the extra armor pieces to it :D

I passed a mod for the ballistic weave but haven't got it. My first playthrough was BoS all the way so, I didn't know about that modification/upgrade for armor.
Lastly, as for the .50 stuff...yeah, when I finished my first run I was just over lvl30 and naturally being on normal difficulty, legendaries and those various "high ranking" enemies (Mythics, Veterans, Glowing etc) weren't very common. So I wouldn't know just how much of a pain in the ass they are...not yet anyway hehe

Ahh I was happily having fun in T-60d Power Armor...had it upgraded with the Tesla chest (Deals energy damage to nearby enemies) and fists (Adds energy damage to unarmed) and the exhaust vents (larger impact radius and damage) hehe
Nothing like " dropping " in on top of enemies and proceeding to beat them to death with electrified punches, while also passively dealing continuous damage :D ...surprisingly effective, but that was on Normal...Survival will probs be a different story >.>

It's up on the hill behind the barracks. Save before opening the door (it's a loading screen.)
And then keep trying until you get a full suit of X-01.
There's also a full suit of X-01 in the Glowing Sea. But I don't recommend getting it because it's surrounded by 600+ RADS and glowing deathclaws in a super market.

Didn't know about the one in the glowing sea either, but yeah, 600+ rads and Glowing Deathclaws? Unless I was OD'd on Rad X, Rad Away and foods for resistance, alongside a few various perks...I think I'll pass on it :p

Baaah Expert lock and terminal...I know I could probs just use console commands, but I avoid that unless I absolutely need to use them...like with the battlecoat without killing Maxson...or if I simply don't feel like messing around with something xD

Well, my first run I was Master Hacker and if there were locks to pick I'd set Cait on them, she's handy for that...though not always successful...I got in a couple of Master Locks thanks to her hehe

Yeah, I have a few texture pack mods currently installed, but they don't have much effect on performance. Though I'm only using the low/mid resolutions, not the 4k. I also got one for better storms and weather, that's pretty sweet and so far I've only had a dip in fps during the improved rad storms, usually goes down to about 45-50 which still isn't too bad.
I dislike ENB, I had it for my Skyrim...destroyed my fps and kind of messed it up,.I do have about 150 mods and 160 plugins running so that could be it xD. Not entirely bothered though, got several other tex mods that make it look great without the performance hit.
The extra building mats mod sounds fun, but I haven't really been building settlements. Perhaps some other time. :p

i actualy prefear my helpfull pistols "why need a battleaxe when a scalpell works as fine, specialy with a silencer" big magazine, cimpensator, sniperhandle, silencer, scope, and extra trait for stunbullets if its not dead after oen shot the secodn one clearly gets teh target off guard
