I'm sorry if you're here right now, because I know you're a good person. Maybe you're uncertain about that. Some of us really are hard on ourselves. We feel like our words aren't good enough, that our feelings aren't good enough, and maybe we're not good enough. Some days we might even feel like ghosts, and that our feelings are turning apathetic. I want you to know, each and every one of you has love in your hearts. All of you have beautiful emotion and creativity, and the last thing I ever want you to do is say you're not good enough as a person or that your feelings are invalid. You're more than that, I promise.
Some of you have grown distressed sometimes. You've looked at your drawings or writing and felt that doubt what you're doing even matters. It always matters. It's you, it's the best part of you, and that will always place you in a league of your own. No comparing, no criticism or lacking. Every moment is you growing, learning, becoming more than you realize. Your heart is wonderful, your mind is wonderful, and I want you to be patient with you today.
You won't always be confident, and eventually you might even return to the garden. I want you to know that's okay. Each and every thing you believe is a failure, or a mistake, or error, is another step forward. I don't want your guard to be up here. I don't want you to hold up your mask. I want you to be yourself. All we have is time, and it will always be enough here. Be good to you today. I know you can.
