Character Sheet for Ruhvunfel
Nickname(s)
Ruh
Sex/Gender
Male
Species
Eastern Dragon
Age
Several thousand years, 10,000+
Personality
Ruhvunfel is a rather serious dragon. He's not prone to laughing, smiling, or joking, usually because he finds it a waste of time. Quick to anger when he's confronted with idiots, this dragon prefers to spend his time alone, doing whatever catches his interest at the time. Given that he's down to earth, that usually includes stuff like hunting for food and looking for a better place to sleep at night.

But, every once in a while, he finds it necessary to entertain himself in other ways. This usually ends in him watching mortals from the top of a building, but he often enjoys hunting for fossils.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Calm silences, resting in the shade, sunbathing, submerging himself in rivers and letting the water rush by him, HOARDING FOSSILS, mentoring a certain female dragon, sleeping in, and sex.

Dislikes: Mud, turtles, dusty feathers, most mortals, annoying idiots, storms, freezing rain, INCOMPETENT dragonslayers (he respects the ones that can kill dragons, as he sees most other dragons as 'just animals'), and really loud noises.
Background/History
Born several thousands of years ago to a single mother, Ruh spent most of his time tucked under his mother in fright of the outside world. Small and weak, everyone doubted that he would make it past his hatchling stage. Regardless, his mother never gave up, and raised Ruh the best she could.

Several years later, the shaky little dragon who was scared of his own shadow had grown. He was still a little smaller than his mother, but was thicker, muscles rippling beneath his smooth coat of fur. Thankful that his mother had never given up on her, he, in turn, started tending to her, fending off attackers and even other dragons, the latter of which startling him.

Even with his help, she slowly started to weaken, having been infected with a virus of unknown origins. Ruhvunfel never left her side, except to get food and water for her. One day, when he came back from hunting, he found her laying on her side, a gash running from the base of her throat, down her chest, and across her stomach, dead. In a rage, he tracked down the killer, another dragon, and fought with him. Ruh was unsuccessful in killing the large male, but the latter left with serious injures. Ruh himself almost managed to limp away, lucky to be alive.

Since that day, he's kept to himself. Not bothering to go near another dragons that he sees, despite having a few urges during certain times of the year. His life continued this way, rather uneventful, until he ran into a certain young dragoness. As annoying as she was, he's taken it upon himself to mentor her.
