As i said once before some pages ago, this is exactly how racism works. no matter what someone may say, some people will go as far as to totally fabricate a flimsy excuse to hate someone that looks even the slightest bit different. You can bet that im rooting for chrysalis on this one.

FFS! I'd expect Cadance to act this way, but the royal guard escorted Crysalis in, and what element is Twilight? Also, it's not your land Cadance, it's Celestia's, so before you execute a royal diplomat claiming to protect the land, think about what you're doing wiping out a whole species that needs one certain emotion just to be born.

Well, in the show Twillight had no issue with killing all the pinkie clones by forcing them to watch paint dry in order to tell "wich pinkie is the real one"

theres a big difference between the two. the pinkie clones where just that clones, made of magic no less as implied by how they 'poofed' away. meanwhile chrysalis is an intelligent living creature who on top of being just that just had an emotional break down about her hive starving to death.
its not in twilights character to intentionally harm or kill any living thing. thats why so many people got upset with twilight with the episode where applejack had bats invading her farm is cause its not like twilight to jump to the ignorant violent solution it would have been more like twilight for her to want to build a habitat for them or find a different forest for them to live.

i'm liking this story so far, but i really hope this ends on a happy note. i really feel bad for chrysalis and her people, and in my eyes she's just trying to save her people from starving, its cadence and the others that are the monsters for forcing them to starve to death.

I've never disliked Cadence before reading this comic. While i feel that the true her wouldn't behave this way, i can still see why should would act this way. As for Twilight, no. She wouldn't just go along with Cadence here. She should've been the first to mention the fact that Cadence, legally, has no right to do anything in this situation, and should be protecting Chrysalis rather than attempting to attack her. As for Luna, i don't even know. I feel like she should be asleep, actually.

Ironically this is not as out of character as most would think. In both the show and comic the ponies (with a few exceptions) are regularly racist/specist. And thanks to Fiendship is Magic #1 Cadence and her family line are shown to be rather bad in that aspect. Her ancestor knew of an effect that was effectively torturing Sombra (who is another species yet again) every year at the same time and did nothing to help then expected him to stand down when he wasn't certain whether to turn against the ponies as she revealed it causing him to snap and kill....yeah the official comics went dark and awesome with his backstory. Anyway almost every time a different species shows up that the ponies know little about they tend go super racist. And unless they knew you or were friends before they rarely forgive.
